The only niggle was that it was difficult to contact the night manager when we had a problem but when she arrived she was really helpful

I did not find any information on the website indicating that there is no elevator. Being elderly and with two new knees, I needed for the staff to carry my bags to and from the room. There are no ground floor accommodations and no discussion of handicap accessibility.

Fantastic stay at Lomond lodge, convenient walk to town and other surrounding attractions (the gondola). Beautiful view from our apartment, front middle room 13. Laundry facilities are great and fresh towels were on hand if needed. Plans to stay there again next year highly recommend.

I was very happy in the little apartment. Nice to have the heated mattress pads after chilly days of exploring. Only con in the room was the small bathroom sink, hard to wash your face without getting water everywhere. Otherwise, it was quiet, clean, and perfect for a weekend away.

The property has been renovated recently and the inside looks sharp, modern, and stylish. The bed is very soft and comfortable. The view from our rooms ( rooms 1 & 2) is spectacular. We will definitely return next time in town

Good location, no A/C, would not stay there again
Positive: Good location just a few minutes walk to town. Nice and upgraded rooms. Negative: No A/C, so will get very hot inside in the summer. We got a fan provided, which helped a bit. Room key stopped working. People in the office only from 9 am to 4 pm, which means they are typically not there when you are there and might need them, which was inconvenient. Overall: Will find another place next time, as there are many really good options in town to a comparable price.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that the room key didn't work when you were with us. We had a staff member get down to the lodge as soon as possible to re set the card for you. The heat we experienced was very unusual and as this is the only room we have without air con, we popped out to the shop immediately and purchased a fan for you. This is the cheapest of our rooms as it is a basic studio and we advertise it as honestly as possible. We hope to have you back in the future to stay in one of our other units. We have visited Queenstown a couple of times and we booked the lodge based on the Expedia reviews. The condition of the property was very average, no air con in the bedrooms which was very hard to sleep on hot nights. The lounge and bed sheets full of dust mites and the floor in the lounge are was dirty and sticky. There was no one to answer for any check- in questions. Someone just entered our room in the morning with a key without knocking on the door. The four star rating of the place is inaccurate and would not recommend to anyone wanting to spend 600 dollars a night.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your recommendation to get air conditioning in the bedrooms in this room. We will look into this immediately. We pride our selves on the cleanliness of our rooms and are confident that we do not have any dust mites in the Lodge. We have earned our four stars through tough consistent work and will continue to provide top level care for our customers. We have investigated the mis-understanding that occurred when you arrived for your one nights stay. It appears you dropped some keys back into the drop box after you collect them and our staff thought you had made a quiet early departure. They were incredibly sorry for the intrusion and gave you a late departure. We have changed our policy on entering rooms so this does not happen to future guests. I once again apologuise for this happening.

Efficient and friendly check in. Nice, well appointed and comfortable rooms. Very accommodating staff that took care of our luggages while we hiked the area. Luggage was awaiting us in our new room when we returned.

We had a lovely stay-we had a two bedroom apartment which was lovely. All very modern and clean with great amenities. Great location easily accessible into town and the staff were brilliant helping to arrange taxis and transportation to the airport. Would very much recommend.

Very friendly and obliging staff. They went out of their way to accompany us. Room was great with a stunning view and only a short walk to the city centre. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
