The only problem was that the room was too hot for sleeping. We understood that government regulations preclude running the air conditioning at this time of year (October). Max daytime temp about 25 deg C with the bedroom about the same. Outside noise level was high, mainly vehicle horn noise. The limited window opening didn't in any case make much difference to the temp.
Breakfasts very good and staff always helpful.

Choosen for it's location to Air and Rail arrival and departure points, this property is very impressive from first impression to last. Our room was upgraded to a suite upon checkin due to a convention on site. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of the staff throughout the property our entire stay. The buffet meals, both the dinner offered to us and the breakfast that we did indulge in were excellent. This porperty would certainly meet the needs of any visitor for professional and leisure travel. Located with ample shopping of any kind and local street food also available, you have the opportunity to experience both commercial and more intimate Chinese offerings.

This hotel is everything you expect it to be. It is ultra luxurious and caters to the high-end business traveler. Staff speaks English very well and they understand the needs of American and European travelers. Food is a bit pricey as you would expect but otherwise everything is excellent.

The Stay was great. If there was a problem the staff would fix it and be right on it. They do speak English and if they did not understand they found someone who did. Just had to be patient. The cleaning lady was kind and was never intrusive. The hotel was right on the train station, Metro line 1/3/4, and a taxi pick up. Also next to a 24 hour McDonalds and Convenient-mart. So perfect for late food and transportation throughout the city. Also you can see the building from a far so you can point to it so taxi drivers can take you there when you get close. Wifi was limited to the lobby, but they had wired internet. Despite it being China / huge city / next to a huge hub / being an older building, Not much of a bug problem. Only found 3 little roaches during my stay of 11 days. It was pleasing. Only negative was this pimp from Nanjing road that kept hanging around outside the front or in the lobby from something like 9pm to 4am. He got kind of annoying, offering up girls.

A clean and comfortable place to stay for budget travelers. Room is nice with no smells. Breakfast is very good.
Two issues: The hotel needs to remind people not to smoke inside the hotel. It is a 15-min walk to the subway so if you have luggage, better get a taxi. It's convenient to get a taxi just outside.
