"We recently returned from San Andrés, and unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. This is not a 5-star property as advertised. The hotel is in serious need of major renovations, and I regret spending so much money to stay there. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was poor. The woman at the front desk was rude and appeared upset, and we experienced a similar attitude from the staff at the bar. One of the biggest frustrations was the lack of bottled water. Guests have to repeatedly ask for water bottles, and the hotel is extremely stingy with them. Since the tap water is not safe to use for brushing your teeth, bottled water is a necessity, not a luxury. During our stay, the hotel had no running water for several hours one day. The pool was also closed for repairs, and the dining area had water leaking from the pool above. The food was disappointing as well. There were only two à la carte restaurants, both of which required reservations at least a day in advance. Even then, securing a reservation was difficult. Overall, the property is poorly maintained, the service is lacking, and the dining options are limited. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again."

"location was excellent and staff was friendly and helpful. the property is in desperate need of repairs and updates - - - for example, the tiles on the deck were broken, my sink did not drain (they fixed it), the air conditioning was weak, and the furniture showed lots of signs of wear. for this price point, there should be wifi in the rooms, not just in the lobby"

"El hotel parece que es relativamente nuevo. Las cosas por mejorar son: - Poner colgaderos para las toallas en los baños, literal no hay nada para extenderla para secar o mientras uno se ducha. - entra demasiada luz del corredor en la noche al cuarto. El desayuno estuvo variado los tres días que estuvimos. El servicio estuvo 8/10."
