Location and the cleanliness walking distance from the main attractions. Yes the breakfast is an good choice to start off your day it was included in the price of the room.The area was safe!

Great location near Wenceslas Sq. Safe area and brightly lit reception. Friendly service and polite staff. Rooms were clean and spacious and free buffer breakfast was an added bonus.

Nice Hotel with Helpful Night Staff
Very helpful night staff...provided map and where to have dinner. Night staff also suggested an alternative to get to the airport. Maid service is excellent. Breakfast is adequate.

The hotel is perfectly located, right by the I.P. Pavlova station which connects you to essentially everywhere in the city. Comfy beds and very good A/C in the room, especially during the >90°F heatwave the week we stayed. Breakfast was also very nice, with the selection of hot foods rotating each day and ingredients to make your own chlebíčky, as well as cereals, coffee, and espresso (the availability of soy milk was amazing). Service was great, always attentive and helpful, printing out our tickets for our flight and even allowing us to store luggage after check-out. Our only complaint is the lack of English channels aside from the BBC and Euronews, but that shouldn't be much of an issue for those who are out all day regardless.

Very well located, away from main tourist attractions but easy to get to using No.22 tram virtually outside hotel. Restaurants and bars within vicinity were cheaper than in city centre which is always a plus. Hotel rooms clean although a little outdated, bed was extremely hard. Breakfast was up with the best I've experienced on the continent, good variety and plentiful.

Excellent value in Prague.
Hotel conveniently located on subway and major tram routes easily accessible to major sites. Quiet, reasonably sized room. Good breakfast. Excellent value all around. Would certainly return if in Prague again.

Nice staff throughout visit. Free AirCon & Free WiFi in room as well as a kettle, safe & fridge. Basic but plentiful free continental breakfast. 3 mins walk to Metro stop.A good basic hotel for the price. Off a busy road but reasonably quiet.

Clean and convenient hotel, centrally located.
Basically a small conference/business hotel relatively central to Prague. The hotel is about a block from IP Pavlova (a major transit hub, about 10 min walk from downtown), next to the red Metro line. The stay was for three days of vacation, and generally uneventful. The rooms furnishings were slightly dated but comfortable and functional. Included in our rate was a breakfast buffet, which was Central European continental (no eggs, but warm dishes and meats). The staff were very nice and helpful, and kept the place running well... My only issue (and this seems to be a problem with many Prague hotels) is the stingy use of heating, which can be mildly uncomfortable, when the temps drop into the low teens. Although there was an electric heater in the room, it did nothing to warm the room, even when set to max. The room thermostat connected to another heating unit, also didn't do anything to warm the room much... (This has been a issue in many other hotels I had stayed at in Prague during the winter months...)

I stay here because it is very reasonably priced, close to Metro / Tram station. The Single Room is way too small, very poor wifi range. I am a vegetarian and had little or no voice of Veg food in breakfast. (Toast, Butter, Cheese, Oats, Milk, coffee was available) Their service is more than perfect and always willing to help. On request they stopped people smoking in the corridor. They went out of the way to help and make me comfortable.

Excellent buffet breakfast
Very pleasant hotel near 2 subway stops. Breakfast buffet had wide variety, tho coffee was mediocre. We appreciated in room hot pot, but we brought our own instant Starbucks coffee. Mini fridge was passable, not very cold. Ask for room away from busy street, if noise is a bother.

Regarding the hotel one toaster at breakfast was inadequate and smoking in the hotel corridors was also unpleasant.hotel location was good but the most disappointing was the airport transfer shuttle not turning up for a return trip and having to pay an extra 800 krona to get to the airport.

I stayed 4 nights this hotel in oct 2015. what I found it about this hotel , I got more than I paid for. reasonable price. clean room and beds. friendly staffs and free breakfast. whatelse. this hotel is no fancy one but good for budget traveller. location of this hotel is bit off from core area but public transit system is excellent in prague. so I found no problems at all I am going to visit again sooner than later.

This Hotel is conviently located. It is close to the tram and the underground station I P Pavlova and Namesti Miru. It about a 10 minute walk to the center of Prague. There are plenty of restaunts, markets and a few clubs nearby. Staff was helpful. A continental breakfast was provided, and it was pretty good. The few complaints I have was internet connection was not consistent depending on where your room was. I like my room very cool, between 68-70degrees fahrenheit. However, during part of the day, management controls the room temperature. Overall, I had pleasant stay there. Would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to my friends.

The Beranek is a very good place to stay. It's reasonably priced, clean, and quiet. The staff is professional, friendly, and helpful. There's good variety in the breakfast, which is included in the price if you're travelling on a budget, this is a great feature, especially since the breakfast is a substantial one and could tide you over until dinner. I recommend the Beranek and would stay there again.

Good basic hotel close to transport and old town
Overall a pleasant experience. Included breakfast was more to continental taste (fairly basic), only small toaster, and coffee disappointing. A good no frill hotel with pleasant staff. Tram track in front of hotel was being repaired so vehicle/taxi access limited. should e completed in the next week. Offers good hotel rates forTaxi 680 CZK to Airport and 180 to main railway station. For the price it was great value, as long as you can put up with a few inconveniences. Says it is a 3 star and for that you get good value. Clean and Comfortable. Fridge in room. Key lockable safe. Old style TV. Showers good, but towels old (matted). Overall a good inexpensive hotel close to everything

Do not expect much.
Smoke from smokers from the reception was coming to our level (2) and in the room. Wifi was very poor with no reception at times. Breakfast was bad, called, half build eggs were over boiled and cold, no fruit or veggies and poor menu. Reception was not always occupied. Position was ok as it had tram stop near by.

The price was great for a basic austere room. The breakfast provided was pretty good. The area was great because there is a plaza across from the hotel with about 15-20 booths selling great and inexpensive foods. There is also a McDonalds and KFC a block away. The major tram stop and subway are there too (very close) and minutes to get to most tourist areas. Biggest downside I just was not comfortable with the room after a few days (no comforts at all). I ended up moving to a different hotel a little farther from town, paying a similar price but decorated with nice colors, a welcoming decor a more comfortable lobby and dining area and just as close to tram system. Not bad if little comforts aren't important to you...

Ok hotel within walking distance of everything.
First the good, the shower was very nice. I visited in late November early December so instant hot water that never ran out. It was located within walking distance of most everything. The bed was comfortable and the room was kept warm. Now the bad. The room I had, 301, was way small. I kid you not it was about the size of my walk in closet. The wifi was horrible, only one bar in my room that would frequently get dropped and to keep from being dropped I had to huddle against one wall like a college student stealing someone else's signal. Overall it fit my need for the trip but the room wasn't a place I could relax so if you're looking for just a place to sleep and you don't need a place retreat to and relax then this place would be great.

Great Hotel.
Had a bit of an issue checking in. I booked the night before with Hotels.com, and had several confirmations that my room was already paid for. Seems this was a new way of booking for the hotel and the staff was not familiar with the procedure. I had to wait ~ 1hr to check in. Other than the confusion with the check-in, I was extremely satisfied with the hotel. Very clean, great breakfast buffet with local breakfast items. (cold cuts, hot ham, yogurt, musli, pastries, etc... Overall satisfaction with hotel was great, only drawback is it is ~ 1mile from Charles Bridge, or basically the center of all the tourist attractions.

Very good!
This hotel is excellent in quality and location, there is only 2 minutes walk from the tram stop and metro station which is definitely an advantage when we towed our heavy luggage. Their staff are very nice and helpful, breakfast has a wide variety choices and good to have. Although the room does not provide kettle, however, you can get your hot water or coffee from the coffee machine in the lobby which is free. The wifi signal is strong and stable.

Очень удобное местонахождение отеля: центр, но не расхожий туристический маршрут. Вкусные завтраки: овощи, фрукты, несколько сортов ветчины, яйца вареные и в виде омлета, йогурт, соки, свежайшая выпечка...Чистота и ежедневная смена полотенец. Рекомендую этот отель в Праге)
