The hotel was very clean, i dont think its worth the 4* rating but it was fine for what we needed - a clean room, comfy beds. Air conditioning worked a treat, breakfast was OK but nothing fancy.

The room was small on the last floor but the rest was very good: reception staff , breakfast and WiFi. The hotel is about 15-20 walk to the city center. Many fastfood outlets near the metro station. In general the stay was pleasant .

Love the breakfast set up. The location close to metro. Felt safe with the key usage for the elevator. Had delicious hot tea in lobby machine. Some servers at breakfast are not friendly. Lady whomchecked me in was friendly and very informative.

The walk to the Old Town is around half an hour. However, there is an excellent tram network that is extensive, frequent and inexpensive.

The hotel is on the corner of a very busy street, which fact is not so wonderful. But it’s very close to where you want to be, i.e. close to Wenceslas Square. And the breakfast was very good

Pleasing stay
Hotel forms part of a picturesque 19th century building. Service was friendly and quick I expected to pay an additional city tax for my stay which is roughly £2 a night - you can choose to pay at check in or check out. The free breakfast buffet offers good options of hot and cold food, room was clean and spotless. However I didn’t quite expect the 30 minute walk into the Old Town but the walk lets you take in much of the city’s picturesque beauty and buildings outside of the Old Town and there are tram stops nearby if you can’t manage the walk - the public transport system is reliable and cheap enough. On the first night it would’ve been nice to be able to eat dinner at the hotel after travelling most of the day. But there’s plenty of options. There is a lack of amenities at the hotel such as no hotel gym, no bar, no evening dining which questions the 4* claim. At best it is a much more pleasant, charming and clean 3.5* (Think Britannia Hotels - but with friendly staff, clean rooms and clean bedding)

My first visit to Prague and happy to have stayed here. The front desk staff welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast buffet excellent. Hotel arranged for a trusted taxi driver to take me to the airport

Amazing location ! A 10 minute walk from the train station and close to all the main attractions. Room was clean and spacious. Towels were replaced every day. Which especially liked the windows that fully opened. The breakfast was great. Alot of options. Overall great stay and would stay again if ever in Prague!

nice hotel but not 4 star, i would say 3. The breakfast was unusual but ok, not really any cooked options but the continental spread is good. The main issue was an AC unit that kept buzzing (even though it was switched off) in the room and kept us up during the night, we reported it but were told there was nothing they could do, then the sink in the bathroom started leaking (which was fixed the next day). The staff were very friendly though.

The hotel is in a good location .Easy walking distance of the centre. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. All staff we met were friendly and helpful. There was a choice of hot and cold food for breakfast. Good variety of eateries nearby. For Czech traditional fare try Na Brezance and for a Mexican Mezcal. Both just a couple of streets away.

Very good hotel , location is excellent 5 mints to metro station , 20 mints walking to old city , all needed facilities and restaurants and cafes and shoppings are 5 mints walking , cleanliness perfect , breakfast was very good , over all this choice was excellent choice .

Nice clean hotel, if a little basic. Firstly, Ambience is in a great location for I P Pavlova trams and metro, there are also fast food and coffee chains at the end of the road should you fancy it. The hotel itself is on a quieter side side but some rooms have windows facing Legerova which is a busy road. Reception is manned at all times, with lots of leaflets and magazines to help you plan your stay. Breakfast is served in the basement and has a wide vareity of dishes from cheeses to bacon and eggs and fruit. There is a seated smoking area outside which is a bit of a sun trap so quite pleasant. We stayed in room 207 which was very basic but clean. There is no kettle in the room for hot drinks however there are vending machines for hot drinks and cold snacks in reception. The beds were comfortable (it looked like twin beds pushed together to make one large bed) the room was a good temperature with an air conditioning unit fitted. Bathroom was clean, with hand/body soap provided, although the toilet seemed to be fitted ridiculously high! Housekeeping did a good job of refreshing towels etc. All in all, if you just want a place to sleep this is great. If you prefer evening meals and drinks at your hotel, this is probably not for you, unless you don't mind going for a short walk to a local bar or restaurant.

Great hotel for the location and price. The room was small but clean and modern. The open shelves made it look bigger. The shower was small but powerful. I appreciated the big vanity in the bathroom and well as the tall mirror in the hall. They had a great variety cakes, bread, eggs, sausage, and hot/cold drinks for breakfast. There was plenty of food and space to eat. I took public transportation everyday and the tram/ metro was a 5 min walk from the hotel. Great location and value. Friendly staff.

Pros: location, cleanliness, breakfast buffet (seriously.. it's excellent) Con: our room was tight - advertised as 3 single beds (true) with one sleeper couch (not true). The latter turned out to be a camping bed which was no big deal, just not true to advertising, and it made the room super small. We weren't able to use the one table & chair, plus it was only suitable for a child, not an adult to sleep on. However, we came to Prague to experience the city, not to hang out in our hotel room, so it wasn't a huge deal.
