Very friendly and attentive staff. They offered an incredible breakfast which was nice before hitting the trails at the park. Close proximity to the park and within walking distance to a good pizza restaurant. Highly recommend.

The owner was incredibly nice and gave us recommendations about what trails to do in the park. The room was very spacious and clean with a really nice shower!The location was only a couple of minutes from the park and was super convenient! We had breakfast at the inn and it was delicious! I would highly recommend anyone visiting the area to stay here!

Wonderful brief stay night before visiting the park. Beautiful property. Plentiful breakfast kept us going all day at the falls. Host very friendly and helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and visiting the park.

Amazing stay. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom/shower was large. We opted for the breakfast and it was a large spread. The host was very kind and made me Nutella crepes. The host also talked to us about the NP (he used to work in the Plitvice NP) and told us which route to take. The property is close to dining (we really liked Bistro Vucnica) and near Entrance 2 (maybe 2 minute drive). I highly recommend this place if your are visiting Plitvice NP.

Excellent accommodation in Plitvice
Really lovely accommodation in Plitvice. Our host was so welcoming and could not do enough for us. The breakfasts were hearty and inexpensive. The family room was perfect for my husband and 2 teenage kids. The location is perfect for a visit to the park.

Brilliant host & location
The owner of Villa Verde was probably the nicest host we have ever had!! He gave us all the secrets to visiting the Plitvicka Lakes National Park and made a reservation at a great local family restaurant. The beds were comfy and the room had a great shower (much needed after a day at the park).

Fantastic!!
The property looks newly-renovated to a high standard. The room is large and very clean. The bed is comfy, and the surrounding nature means you'll pleasantly wake-up to the sounds of chirping birds. Wonderful! There is an outdoor patio to enjoy with a beer or other refreshment. The breakfast is a feast, so don't miss it. The best scrambled eggs I've ever had! The owner is very nice and speaks very good English. He was so kind to drive me to the Park when I checked out and gave me great great information on cstching the bus to Split. It saved me from an unnecessary taxi ride between Entrances to catch my bus. It's perfectly located between Entrance 1 and 2 of the Plitvice Lakes National Park.

This property is close to the National Park. The room was large and clean, the proprietor was friendly, the parking was easy. Potential guests should know that this is in a rural area so there aren't many shopping/dining options around. The proprietor recommended a restaurant just down the street and we had a fabulous dinner there. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious the next morning.

We recommend this guest house. The owner was wonderful, including providing good suggestions for our visit to Plitvice Lakes. The breakfast was excellent. If you are planning to stay here before visiting Plitvice Lakes, we suggest purchasing 8:00 entrance tickets to the park. This will allow you to have breakfast at the guest house first.

Our host and his staff were terrific! Sparkling clean room, thoughtful provision of toiletries, a fabulous breakfast spread, beautiful grounds—even a trampoline! Follow our host’s advice on the best route for touring the park. You won’t be sorry!

Great place to stay
We found this guest house to be a great place to stay: scenic, safe, and very welcoming. Rooms are generously sized, clean, very comfortable (but no elevators and lots of stairs). The family that runs the guest house is friendly and the food is fantastic (including their homemade plum spirits). Big breakfasts with lots of variety. We bought their dinner one night and it was among the best we had on our trip. They also offered good advice and background about hiking the lakes. Would definitely go back!

The owners of the hotel were friendly and gave us excellent tips for the park and where to eat. The space itself was clean and quiet. We opted for the onsite breakfast and it was plentiful. We will stay here again when we visit again.

This was truly a wonderful experience. The host is fantastic and the place is beautiful and very well situated in proximity to Entran e 2 of the Park. For breakfast, we had an abundance of goodies, including homemade crêpes and cakes! Will go back for sure...!

Highly recommend - would stay again.
Great place to stay! The room was in great condition - was recently remodeled/new. The bathroom had nice counter space, the room was large, and the bed was also really comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here! If we go back, we would definitely stay again. Also, the breakfast was not included - but definitely recommend paying for it! It was delicious.

Great job.
The owner of the hotel was so helpful that he treated his guests as he said we were his friends. Tea and coffee was available and a decent breakfast was provided. Our room would normally score easily a 4 star in a hotel rating. The nation park is just over a mile away and one can park at hotel / B/B. The rooms are of 4 Star quality. The hotel overall I have given it 10/10

Mr. Željko was an excellent host in every way! Breakfast was more than expected…cheese, breakfast meats, bacon, bread, croissants, yogurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and if that wasn’t enough crepes with Nutella! He advised on best practice for visiting the falls and never hesitated to offer assistance. Our youngest was sick and he recommended a physician that could see us, and checked in on our son. Very kid friendly. Quiet and charming hotel!

My husband and I had a perfect one night stay. We arrived early but the host was accommodating and allowed us to check in early so we could drop our things and head to the park. National Park is so conveniently located. The host helped arrange a reservation for dinner at an adorable place down the street (walkable) for a delicious local dinner. Room was clean and comfortable. Quiet and safe. And the breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL! Definitely recommend this place for your Plitvice visit!
