Dear mr. Nathan it is written everywhere that our swimming pool will be open from May 1st until sept. 30st . So that the maintenance you described it is just the preparation for the season.

The hotel is a 1970s building that has not been completely modernised but functions perfectly well. The staff are friendly and efficient and the hotel is well cared for. The pool area is particularly attractive. Car parking can reach capacity but is needed because on street parking is charged 24 hours a day. The hotel is situated in a very pleasant neighbourhood.

Good hotel that's shy of great
During our staying the hotel pool was under construction which was a bit of a shame as it was this was not listed on their site or profile. Additionally the breakfast was a bit lacking too especially if you are vegetarian. Other then that, the hotel staff have been amazing, helpful and always welcome you with a warm smile.

Beautiful day

Staff, Hotel, breakfast and swimmingpool was all great. The rule to wear swimmingcaps was very selective applied. Smoking was also allowed around the swimmingpool.....

We had an excellent family holiday here, kind helpful staff. Good facilities inside and outdoors. The restaurant food was good and plenty of choice. Wine was reasonable priced and good quality. Breakfast was also very good. Lovely swimming pool in a large garden.

the room - an upgrade from basic - called comfort is nothing special. no view and small. the walls are made of paper and you can hear everything, both day and night. the breakfast is terrible. knock-off products, including cheap, fake nutella. room amenities are low quality. the hotel floors are a maze. the towels for the swimming pool have to be asked at the front desk and need to be kept for the entire length of stay - not returned after each use. weird!!!! the price, mid july 2013, is ridiculously high at 380 Euro per night. definitely a 3 star quality at the price of a 5 star.

We have a under 2 year old and this hotel was perfect for us after a long road trip around Italy to relax for a few days. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the hotel is great for a 4 star and the location perfect for what we were after. really nice relaxing time at the end of our holida

Excellent Service
Just returned from 5 nights in this hotel. Booked on the Tripadvisor recommendations. Yes it's one for people with transport, we had a hire car which put the town, Forti dei Marmi and the mountains all in reach. This hotel and the staff are amongst the best I've experienced. The marble floors and staircases are beautiful. The room, wooden flooring and walnut furniture were simple but exceptional. The balcony was huge and overlooked the pool. The maids kept it spotless. The chap maintaining the pool deserves special mention, he never stopped working! the water and the whole area around were always clean. The catering staff were extremely competent, always there but never obtrusive. The fare simple and enjoyable. American bar supplied great cocktails (by the pool). End of season so it felt like our private resort! few little signs of wear (spots of plaster flaking outside) and I hope they do the obvious winter maintenance. The polite reception staff spoke good English. The beaches are clean with talcum powder sand and shallow water, I expect you need to book well ahead in season. Will I return? definitely. Fortei dei Marmi and Marina de Peitrasanta comprise a large area and are nicely upmarket. Just beware of the areas North (Masa) and South to Viareggio which we drove through. You wouldn't want to stay there!

Hotel was good. I am not sure i got the correct class of room I payed for. I suspect that if you book directly you would have gotten na better room for the price.

Great Hotel
hotel was nice, but some rooms are very dark and small. Beds are very hard likewise with pillows. draw back for us was showers only. But a very good hotel in an ideal area. Very well located.

Overnight in Marina Di Pietra Santa
Hotel was clean and bright having recently been refurbished, except that our room had no pictures in it, just plain walls, bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast was a little disappointing and was certainly not a 4 star breakfast, more a 2 star . But over all a nice hotel in a good position on the coast.

Troisième et pas le dernier séjour.
Troisième séjour et, toujours un plaisir d’avoir un accueil et un service aussi parfait. Le service des petit-déjeuner et du restaurant est orchestré de mains de maître par Monsieur Carlo et ses collègues. Les chambres sont très propre et bien suivie. Nous remercions aussi la direction et la réception d’avoir peut déplacer les dates de réservation suite à l’accident de mon épouse.

They did not let us eat lunch at the Hotel Restaurant, because we did not have a reservation. We where upgraded to sea view when we checked in without a charge but when we checked out they wanted us to pay for it. They where very angry with us when we said no as it was free of charge. We asked for a taxi and they did not even try to book a cab, they said it is unavailable. Overall very rude staff.

Second séjour à Pietrasanta au Versilia Palace
Très bon accueil, la chambre très propre et grande. L’ensemble du personnel est très serviable, la marina est splendide. Une note particulière pour les serveurs au petit-déjeuner où il règne toujours une bonne ambiance. Merci à tous et à bientôt.

Das einzig schöne an der Unterkunft war der Pool. Das Zimmer war für ein Familienzimmer klein und zu teuer. Der Kühlschrank hing wie ein Gemälde an der Wand und machte andauernd Geräusche - auch in der Nacht. Der Service im am Frühstück oder Abendessen sehr speziell. Nur der eine einzige Person darf Bestellungen entgegen nehmen, was zu längeren Wartezeiten auf sich bringt. Am Frühstück darf man sich am Buffet nicht selber bedienen. Auch spontan kam man sich nicht fürs Abendessen anmelden - muss bereits morgens mitgeteilt werden und auch bereits sagen was man essen will. Nicht viel Auswahl. Pro Gang drei Angebote!

Schönes Hotel mit fraglichem Service bei Frühstück
Das Hotel an sich ist sauber und schön. Der Service, insbesondere beim Frühstück lässt allerdings echt zu wünschen übrig. Wir mussten am Tisch 30 Min. warten, bis wir überhaupt die Möglichkeit hatten, etwas zu bestellen und anschliessend war der Kaffee dann kalt. Am zweiten Tag wurde die bestellte Eierspeise vergessen und kam erst 20 Min. nach Bestellung.

Hotel con camere ampie e pulite, nonostante arredamento un po’ datato. Personale alla reception disponibile e cortese. Comodo il parcheggio interno. Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte, colazione servita al tavolo a causa nuova normativa vigente. I camerieri che ci hanno servito, non sono più passati per chiedere se avessimo bisogno di altro, neanche per un bicchiere d’acqua.

Struttura comoda di fronte al mare con parcheggio all’aperto e al coperto gratuito. Posizione quindi eccellente se cerchi quiete e relax. L’hotel ha accolto la mia richiesta di un piano alto ma non quella di una camera vista mare nè la richiesta di late check out (che ha ricevuto un NO al 15 settembre senza neanche verificare il numero di camera etc). Colazione essenziale e con minima scelta di prodotti comunque validi. Sala con parte dei tavoli non fruibili in quanto già prenotati/riservati ai clienti in mezza pensione, elemento francamente negativo che conferisce un tocco di tristezza e un’atmosfera da pensionato. Piscina non particolarmente invitante sia perché un po’ datata sia perché totalmente in ombra almeno in questo periodo dell’anno. zona lettini bordo piscina molto rilassante all’ombra di begli alberi di pino.
