I LOVED my stay here. This is a GLBTQ friendly place, but that doesn't apply to me, but yet, they were wonderful. One day I got a massage and Khmer massages are fantastic. I ate delicious foods -- the Cambodian breakfasts and coffee are wonderful. The staff was attentive and helped with anything I needed, and always said hello to me. When I first arrived they brought me a cold towel and a drink and had me sit down. The pool is lovely with twinkling lights. The tuktuks come easily from the location and I adventured all about. They also have a mini bar fridge they stock with beers and water and sodas. So handy. I hope to return to their other location in Siam Reap and stay there as well. I definately recommend this place and will stay again if I am in town.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work in my room and I misplaced my headphones in the room. My app is saying they’re at the resort but cleaning staff hasn’t been able to locate them I guess…. A very nice pool though.

The moment you arrive you feel you are welcomed as family. Above all else it is the staff that is unique from any hotel I have ever visited. They are warm , eager to please, and will try to fulfill any of your needs. The establishment has a cozy feeling and the food options are great. This is the second time I stayed at the Rambutan and I was as pleased as the first time I was there. If you plan to visit Siem Reap, I recommend highly the Rambutan property there as well

Great stay.
Really appreciated the cold wet face towel and welcome drink during the speedy and flawless check-in. There's an ongoing building construction next door so there was dust and noise. Luckily, it was a weekend so that was greatly reduced, and only bothered me some. Otherwise, a relaxing stay with a nice room and good breakfast. Too bad i didn't get to enjoy the tub in the balcony because of the dust and construction workers across.

Multiple stays here over the years. While the property is only 3 or 4-star, the service is 5-star++. You are treated like a pasha by one and all. Several “nearby” restaurants serve delicious Khmer foods. They are worth searching out.

Very nice room, helpful staff. Restaurant food was good. About 10-20 minutes tuk-tuk to Royal Palace. Plenty of cafes restaurants, ATMs nearby. Nice pool to cool off in. However, the A/C in our room was not very effective and fan speed was not sufficiently adjustable, making for a windy night. Take away breakfast on second day was disappointing as we were facing a long bus ride to Sihanoukville. Dry baguette, jam and banana.

Always friendly, always reliable...but pricey!
While it is on the high-side price-wise, I'm always ensured of a comfortable and welcoming stay at Rambutan Resort when I'm in Phnom Penh. Excellent service, warm and welcoming.

A definite HIT with Rambutan Resort - Phonm Penh
A lovely hotel with friendly staff. The neighborhood was walkable and had some yummy restaurants. The rooms were spacious enough and quite comfortable. The breakfast was really super duper! Restaurant and bar both served tasty drinks and food. I like Rambutan so much, I am now at their sister hotel in Siem Reap.

Clean and quiet
Staff are very helpful. Room very cleaned. Very quiet. What else can i say, after full day of excursion, u need a quiet room for rest. Breakfast choice is good.

Great location
We stayed at Rambutan in Siem Reap and decided to stay at the Phnom Penh location on our last night in Cambodia. While the PP location had a different ‘big city’ feel (while SR was more relaxed resort) we enjoyed our stay. The pool was excellent, the room was modern and the staff was very accommodating. They arranged an excellent driver for us on short notice. The big bonus (being from the West), was the Starbucks just down the street- when we needed a big caffeine hit!

My new 'go to' place in Phnom Penh
I've stayed many times at Rambutan Resort in Siem Reap but this was the first time at Rambutan Resort Phnom Penh. What a charming oasis of calm and pleasure, from the hustle and din of a growing city. Great rooms, good food, private and safe...but what makes this place absolutely stellar are the people - excellent friendly service with smiles all around! And that's what Rambutan Resort Phnom Penh is : absolutely stellar!

Excellent location for my needs, with several restaurants and a gym very close by. While the room decor was a underwhelming with the feel of a college dorm, it was nonetheless clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Top Hotel Choice
My fourth or fifth stay in a Rambutan Resorts property. An excellent experience, as always. While facitilities are serene, gracious, and comfortable, it is the outstanding staff, particularly Mr. Sopha in Phnom Penh, that make a Rambutan stay stand above the rest. One of the nicest properties I have stayed at in Asis. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Such value for the money. The location is great - it inside the teeming touristy hub, but a quieter area with great restaurants and easy access to all that is Phnom Penh. Best of all was the personal and attentive service in a hotel that was beautiful and hip. Loved the pool area.

The most genuine and helpful staff I have ever met
I really enjoyed my stay at Rambutan Resort Phnom Penh. The location was slightly further away from the riverside where most of the tourist hung out. However, this made the area around the hotel quiet and peaceful. I also appreciated that the resort is only for adults so no noisy children. After many years of travel, I feel the staff in this resort are one of the warmest and most genuine people I have met. Really enjoyed my stay and miss the staff and service at at the resort. :)

I went to Cambodia to celebrate my best friend birthday and we time at both the Phnom Penh and the Siem Reap Rambutan Resort and had a great time at both locations. We would like to give proper appreciations to the Siem Reap hotel staff for connecting us with a great tuk-tuk driver and the Phnom Penh owners/management for providing us with a more personal touch by ensuring the clubs and eateries provided us more personal touch. Both locations we highly recommend and we will be going back again.

Solid and safe
Safe hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was warm, and hard to cool down with the air conditioner. Mostly clean, but could use more detailed cleaning of hard to reach areas.
