“Poor value for money”
Stayed here 7 months ago for a lot less. This time the rate was 75% higher. Faucet dripped, Kitchenette included only glasses and cups. Kettle had brown film that kept breaking off. TV - one channel had no sound. They fixed it and then it had no sound and no picture. Rooms are tired and old. The one good thing is staff who are friendly and helpful. Restaurant is pretty good.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The desk personnel were friendly and helpful, the room spacious, clean and attractive, bathroom just right, etc. The only item that could be improved would would be larger tables in the restaurant, and a couple more waiters or possibly kitchen help to assist in the meal delivery ... The food was well prepared, regardless of the delivery. We had a very nice stay.
“only one complaint”
I booked the Somerset due to the proximity to the start of the City to Surf Marathon. I would liike to compliment the hotel staff on their courteous service, however!! why do all hotels have to make it so difficult for a customer to arrange a late check-out.

Very convenient for my business needs, with restaurants nearby.
“Good hotel value but no restaurant for dinner”
The hotel is a good value in a great location however they've closed their restaurant for dinner (it is open for breakfast) so for evening meals it's a little difficult and there aren't many options. They offer many menus for take-away service, but I haven't really eaten any good dinners this way.
