“Would come back and stay again”

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. Although it is not brand new, I have felt more comfortable staying here than the new modern hotels I have previously stayed at. The location is quite convenient. The staff are very nice and friendly. Overall, I would recommend this for people who are on a budget but would still get great service and comfortable stay.

“Good service, breakfast and accomodation”

I was impressed that there was no charge to me, after querying, for local phone calls. This may not be a common practice. There is a good bus service to all parts of Perth close to the hotel.

Area recommendations

Burswood casino. I am not a gambler but there is a nice walk by the lake and river. Join the Burswood club for free immediately and get cheap meals. The senior bus fare to Burswood was 70 cents each way.

“Reasonable Hotel”

A reasonable, older, hotel close to the middle of Perth CBD. It has on site parking and the access to the free CAT bus network outside and is about 10 minutes walk to the shopping area. Comfortable, reasonable breakfast quality and variety. Bar and restuarant shuts early (9pm) but there are alternatives within 5 minutes walk. WiFi was a bit slow and I used a USB modem that I carry for most business purposes.

Reasonable quality hotel at quiet end of Perth city. A fair bit cheaper, and more basic, than the high profile Perth hotels.

Northbridge for restaurants and clubs. Cottesloe for the beach.

“Suitable”

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was a little bit of a walk from the city centre. However, the htoel was located within short walking distance from the Perth CAT (free bus). Overall, a satisfying stay at the Perth Ambassador.
