"Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Bed was comfortable. Parking was good. Good security. There was a large TV in the common area. It would be better if there was a TV in each room as well."
"The room type and photos were very different to the room we were given.
The room I booked through Expedia looked modern (based on photos) and contained a queen and two single beds. My original booking was for one adult and one child. Based on the bedding configuration for the room I booked, I asked my wife to come for the trip, making a total of two adults and one child (still within the bed / room booked)
When we arrived we were given an old room with one queen bed. The staff were extremely...
"We absolutely loved our stay at Smiggins Hotel- the staff are so kind and friendly, the location couldn’t be better, the rooms are beautiful and warm and the food is absolutely sensational. What a wonderful family holiday! My kids said it was the best trip ever and cannot wait to return. Thanks Belinda and team for the wonderful hospitality."
"Friendly staff and service, particularly in the restaurant. The room & bed was really comfy but unfortunately couldn’t sleep as the walls are paper thin. We could hear all of the staff conversations in the hallway at 9pm at night, all crying children, as well as the loud shower pressure of the room next door very early in the morning."
"Clean but meal quality was inconsistent and wi-fi was terrible. Bistro was like school camp with adults rationed and no seconds offered. Front bbq restaurant was excellent. "

"We booked family room, perfect for our purposes. The manager was very informative, 5 stars to the staff. Only suggestion maybe additional variety of dishes for breakfast. and a few Asian meals in the bar. overall excellent place"
"Great waterfront view!
Shower/toilet a little cramped - a shelf above/near the sink would have been good. First world problem & didn't detract from overall great experience."

"Really lovely stay here! So close to everything in the village, 5 minute walk to the lifts, friendly staff. Love that they had laundry on property ( 2 AUD per wash/dry cycle) and the continental breakfast was delicious and very filling for a day of activities! Room was spacious and had lovely amenities. Would recommend for anyone staying in Thredbo for MTB, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, or any other activities :)"
