“Great Location”
Beware of drinking at the bar.... 16 euros for a shot of Vodka... Other than that the hotel was great.
“Not Impressed”
Great Location. That's it.
“GREAT LOCATION”
Wonderful location and from our bed we look directly at the Eifel Tower. Very good quality breakfast with Omelete bar and chef . Lovely lounge bar area but the price of drinks was so expensive that it made everyone on the tour look for other alternatives to find a place to get together for a drink which was a shame as the convenience would have been a lot easier if we had stayed in house.
“Overpriced for room cleanliness”
We only stayed here because we were meeting friends who had chosen it as 1 of the 5 choices on their tour package. While we had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our room, we were right across from an apt. bldg. & had to keep the curtains drawn for privacy. The bed was 2 beds pushed together & had 1 duvet that was not wide enough for 2 people unless you slept closely & then fell into the crack. The wallpaper was torn in one spot. The tub had mildew in the tile grout and the side of the tub was pressboard that had cracked along the top edge. While the lighting in the bathroom was bright, there was no lighting over the mirror for applying makeup. The hairdryer was on a short cord making it useless. Power mysteriously went out 3 times & although a call to the desk took care of it, I worried about a short & possiblity of an electrical fire. We asked for a wake-up call & did not get it & missed the train we'd wanted to Giverney. Breakfast at 22E was full & good. With coffee alone 5E a cup most places, it was a pretty good value if you drink a lot of morning coffee. Staff was generally pleasant & helpful. Free wireless, though password changed daily. In room safe. Mini fridge locked so would need to sort out w/ front desk. Walls pretty thin as next door had a loud snorer & loud late night talker, though call to desk at 11:30 p.m. did get them to quiet down. Common areas were clean. Metro a few blocks away & RER C also close.
“Decent”
This hotel was very close to eiffel tower, other than that you must ride the metro everywhere, which suprisingly was easy to do. Hotel does not have a view of tower at all, unless you get a deluxe suite(most expensive rooms). We came across one very helpful person at reception, he went above and beyond to help out. Although the day before we left we needed help confirming our shuttle, and the guy at front desk said it was not his problem and its not part of conceriage service,"that he has spent more than enough time,10 minutes". Come to find out later this was the manager, his name was jill, of the reception desk. Besides the one gentleman (Benjamin), everyone didnt seem to want to help or answer questions. Oh by the way if you need some, that will be 5 euros!! Minibar refrigerator stunk like mildew!!
“Only good thing is the location”
The hotel was dirty, unkept and smelled bad. It is in desperate need of updating. It was not worth the price. The glasses in the room were chipped and there were cigarette butts on the balcony. The only positive was the view of the Eiffel Tower and the location.
“Good Hotel, Pullman”
Location was great, staff was helpful and courteous. WIFI was very slow and annoying to have to get daily access codes and passwords. Didn't try the food at the hotel. Rooms were clean and well kept. Business center computers had bugs and were clunky. Bathrooms were clean. Daily cleaning crew was excellent. Can almost reach out and touch the Eiffel tower. Great nearby bakeries and restaurants. Overall 4/5.
“Had a Wonderful Time”
The hotel is in a great area of Paris. We walked approximately 3 miles one day viewing the Eiffel Tower (just around the corner), walking along the river, having lunch near one of the many parks and visited the Louve. Many local restaurants to enjoy for dinner. The hotel supplies a wonderful breakfast with the price of the room. I had read in several past reviews that people had issues with the temperature control in the room. Upon our arrival, our air conditioning did not seem to work but we contacted the front desk and they sent someone up right away. The air had to be turned on elsewhere from the temperature control.
“Very nice hotel with a great location”
The hotel is in very good condition. My room was spacious, modern and had a balcony with an excellent view of the Eiffel Tower. The bathroom was quite large and the shower had excellent water pressure. There were three English speaking channels (two of them news channels) on a CRT TV that, even after two days, still had me stumped as to how to turn it off and on. My only frustration was with the free wifi. It was surprisingly unreliable for the two days I stayed. I would stay here again.
“Not too impressed but room for improvement!”
way overpriced hotel. the rooms themselves are well maintained but the hall ways are disgusting and run down.. and it makes you feel like you are staying in a roach motel. A fresh coat of paint would make a world of difference. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone until they fix it up some..especially not for the ridiculous price we paid!
