“Great Location, and great price.”
My wife and I chose this hotel for our honeymoon, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was friendly, and while the rooms are small by US standards, they were comfortable, and we never were left wanting for any amenities. The metro has an outlet on either side of the hotel making for a very easy access to anything in Paris. And, the neighborhood is in the Latin section, which gave us access to some incredible food and great little hangouts locally.
“neat, small, and personable”
Nice, quite, tiny hotel, very personable and friendly, It is right in the university area and Latin Quarter, a block away from Rue Mouffetard one of Paris' liveliest market streets. The subway (metro) is steps away from the hotel. They offer taxi service to the airport (CDG), however, I took the metro, which is reasonably convenient. I would always come back. Merci beaucoup et a bientot.
“Paris on a Budget”
The hotel was nicely located near a Metro stop. The surrounding neighborhood was charming. The hotel itself was not anything to brag about. It was a smaller hotel with only 5 rooms per floor. It did have an elevator to use which is nice if you stay on the 5th floor. The room was decent size for a hotel in Europe. The bathroom was spacious and had a built in hair dyer which my wife loved. Its a great hotel if you are trying to save money and don't mind being a little farther away from the Eiffel Tower.
“Nice hotel in a good location in Paris with a helpful english speaking staff”
Hotel St. Christophe is located in the latin quarter of Paris and is within walking distance of Grande Galerie d'Evolution and Menagarie des Jardin des Plantes. Also nearby are Pantheon and Sorbonne. It is a bit far from the other sites which require the use of the excellent Paris transportation system (Driving would really be a bad idea, as the traffic is usually very heavy in the city and parking is a nightmare.). A "Carnet" (karn-ay) of 10 single-use tickets for the subway costs €12.00. This is a small hotel which is well maintained and has several staff members who speak excellent english. Breakfast is available at the hotel and at several nearby locations. The staff members were quite helpful. The room was clean. It was bit small by American standards, however, it was quite adequate for our needs. Select a different hotel if you are interested in booking a room with accessibility features. overall it was a very nice small hotel and I would be happy to stay agin if we return to Paris.
“good value”
For a 3 star hotel it is good. Good sleeping, good showering, close to 2 metros, close to restaurants. Reception desk helpful.
“clean quiet close”
it's fine, small clean rooms, good service, great location, the rooms are small but I think that reflects the paris hotel market
“Great Paris Hotel”
This hotel was all that I anticipated it would be. Reception was very welcoming and helpful, especially when we were having difficulty getting into our email. The room was a little larger than we had expected as our previous European hotel rooms have been smaller. Had a nice corner room and even though it was rather warm when we arrived, the fan in the - and cross ventilation really made the room comfortable. NIce bathroom with great shower. The breakfast was quite tasty and very ample with a good selection of food. Close to subway and walking distance to major areas. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
“Close to the metro and in my favorite Parisian neighborhood”
First off, the Latin Quarter and Rue Mouffetard is my favorite part of Paris because it's charming with lots of places to eat, two open markets and remains relatively low on tourist crowds. This hotel is located a short walk from Rue Mouffetard and an even shorter walk to the Place Monge metro station. Also within walking distance are the Jardin des Plantes, Pantheon and a little further away (but still walkable with lots of stuff in between) are Notre Dame, Sainte Chappelle and Conciergerie. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and ours had a nice view of Rue Lacepede. Just be prepared for a super-teeny elevator (par for Europe) and a dark, narrow stairwell. I only wish that there was a more compelling breakfast offering with eggs, etc (continental only).
“NIce hotel, excellent location”
Clean room, friendly and helpful staff and location make this a good option for couples of all ages that want to stay close to main touristic sites without spending too much for a hotel room. One block from subway station also makes it very easy to go around Paris.
“Very nice Hotel”
This was a very nice hotel close to Notre Dame cathedral. It is just off one of the main streets in Paris so transportation was never a problem for either the Metro or bus. The restaurant served a good contental breakfast with friendly servers. The desk staff were helpful for anything we asked of them. We would recommend this hotel for travelers.
