“Room for an improvement”

“Great location and friendly atmosphere”

Hotel des Artes is located about 3 minutes from the Moulin Rouge, in an area full of bistros and cafes. It's near a Metro station and opposite a trendy movie house. Rooms are comfortable and warm. Breakfast in continental style and the hotel does not have a bar or dining room, just the breakfast room. It's very popular so don't expect to get into the room early if you arrive before the published check in time. It's boutique and quaint, very clean and conveniently located.

Area recommendations

I would always stay in Montmartre - it's such a fun area but very safe and full of interesting places to visit.

“Excellent Location in Montmartre”

This hotel is quite superb. Best bits were: the breakfast was quite superb for an included one and the server Patrick is a very nice man; the location is brilliant in the heart of vibrant Montmartre. Abesses subway a 5 min walk was the one I used mainly on green M12; Free loan of IPad for 2 hours. Room was just fine. Will stay again if in Paris!

“can't wait to come back”

Excellent hotel with great location.Breakfast was very delicious and great variety.Room was a little on the smaller site,but clean and great to crush in after a long day of walking and sightseeing.You could't find better location,3 blocks from Moilin Roige,just in the center of Monmarte, 5 minutes walk from 2 metro stations, with many different restaurants around and few shops.If you are looking for charming boutique hotel in the center of Paris and not too expensive,stay in the Hotel Des Arts,you can't go wrong with this small hotel for the value,breakfast and location.Will definitely go back there.

Monmarte is a great area with many different restaurants and small shops.Area is very artsy,there are many artist on the streets and many nice boutique shops around.The view is breathtaking and it is very nice to walk around that area.

Don't miss Moilin Rouge, it is the greatest expirience you will have in Paris.It is not only cabare,it is a variety show with comedians,acrobats,clouns and wonderfull music and atmosphere.Dinner(French Cancan menu) was delicious,there is very nice music plaing during the dinner with wonderfull singers.Overall it is an expirience not to be missed if you want to spent nice,romantic evening in the city of ligths.

“Can't wait to go back”

The staff at the Hotel Des Arts are warm, friendly and accommodating. The hotel was fully booked when I checked in but I was upgraded to a beautiful studio apartment for my week's stay. The staff were wonderful in showing me to the apartment and helping me settle in. The apartment was clean and spacious and right at the heart of the lively Artists' Square. This was my second stay with the Hotel Des Arts and will certainly not be my last!

Area recommendations

Montmartre for its vibrant atmosphere and many bars and restaurants! There are some wonderful cafes and boulangeries in the area and this particular arrondissement has a warm, village feel.

“Stay in Montmartre!”

Great hotel, marvelous breakfast in a nice eating area. Charming and in a perfect area, Montmartre. Close to Gare Nord, just a few Metro stops away. Very reasonable for Paris. Complimentary wireless card with Expedia
