“Better off elsewhere”
Pictures are a bit deceiving. Rooms are very small, really meant for 1 traveler but they throw 2-3 beds in there anyways. Better off paying more and staying in a nicer hotel. Location was convenient though, very close to metro. Area was a bit dull so metro will become very useful.
“Small but convenient”
Nice people who speak English, small rooms, nothing fancy. Great location.
“Europe Hotel = French Neighborhood & Great Honeymoon”
This hotel was small and cozy but the rooms were very spacious for a European hotel. The staff was very helpful especially the gentleman that worked overnight. The location was great... right across from the metro and still very close to the Eiffel Tower. It's on a quiet street in a local neighborhood. There are a lot of grocery stores and restaurants close by. We had a great experience at this hotel and it was our honeymoon. The closest metro stop is La Motte Picquet Grenelle. I would recommend this hotel!
“I am so hopping to return ASAP!!!”
The Hotel was pretty much good: close to the Eiffel Tower, metro was right across the street, lots of supermarkets, restaurants, etc. The room was not big, but very cosy, we had a perfect view to the top of the Eiffel.
“Comfortable authentic hotel near the Eiffel tower”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Europe hotel. the girl at reception was very pleasant, spoke english and was very helpful. The room was small however quite adequate for the the three of us staying. Our windows had the pretty ledge flowers so was very authentic. We walked to the Eiffel tower and there are lots of really nice restaurants nearby. The rates were very reasonable.
“Great location for exploring Paris”
The location of this hotel can't be beat! You have a metro right outside the hotel, a fresh food market Sunday mornings right in front of the hotel, a Monoprix (grocery store and anything else you could need) right across the street, tons of good restaurants right around the hotel and the Eiffel Tour a 5-10 minute walk away. The hotel staff were also very friendly and spoke good English. With that said, the room was nothing to write home about. It was small, but clean and suited our needs. Please note that the shower is EXTREMELY small and a large person would not fit in it. I'm 5'3" and am a size 8, and I hit my elbows on the shower doors when I was washing my hair, so keep this in mind if you're a larger person, as the shower might not work for you. There may be rooms with larger showers, but ours was very tight. Paris is beautiful! And we didn't run into any rude Parisians! They're all very polite.
“WE REALLY ENJOYED PARIS”
IT WAS GREAT, THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT, HOTEL LOCATION IS AMAZING, 5 MIN. WALK TO TOUR EIFFEL, AND IN THE CORNER IS METRO SATTION AND BUS STAND. IN FRONT YOU HAVE A SUPERMARKET AND LOTS OF CHOICES TO LUNCH OR DINNER..GREAT PLACE TO SATY.
“Ok for the money”
Hotel is very small and needs renovation. However, value for money given its location is quite good.
“all depends on who's at reception”
My whole family had stayed here 3 years earlier and were very happy with our rooms and the service. This time we were informed that the room I had booked weeks before with 2 single beds - and had received more than one confirmation on - would not be ready until the following day, and that we would have to spend our first night in a room with one bed. It was dark, drab, depressing, and the bathroom impossibly small. The room we were changed to the next day was even worse. Although with 2 beds, the one window was not on the wall, but on the slanted dormer ceiling! I refused this room and asked for a room comparable to the ones we had all had in 2007. Finally, we were granted this magical request. My sister has a back problem, so we requested more pillows. Always with a smile, we got the first of many "no problem, madame - they will be in your room when you return tonight. They were not, and when we asked at the desk upon our return, they simply said dryly and without apology housekeeping was closed for the night. After a week visiting family in Bordeaux, we stayed one last night there before leaving Paris. The man at the reception was very strange, responding angrily when our room key was apparently demagnitized because we put it in my purse. He was very reluctant to help with anything. The next morning down in the lobby at 6:00 a.m. waiting for the taxi for which the advance reservation i requested he knew nothing about, he was dishelved, disoriented, and smelled of alcohol
“Friendly and great location”
The staff was so kind and went out of their way to call the airport every few hours to find out where our luggage was. It finally came the next evening and the hotel staff let us know right away. They also gave us wonderful directions on how to get to places and great recommendations for sight seeing and restaurants. Located right across from a department/grocery store Monoprix where you can get everything you need. Outdoor cafes on the corner are nice to relax at in the evening after a busy day sight seeing. Wonderful outdoor market is set up every Sunday and Wednesday right outside the hotel. Wow, all the fresh gourmet foods are for sale there. Great place to pick up some fresh fruit and delicious lunch food if you're watching your budget. ATM two doors down. Metro right around the corner...very handy, as we were always using it to zip around town. Okay the elevator is small, but it gets you where you're going...no problem. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Just a very nice little hotel...and friendly means a lot!
