"Quiet location in the centre of Palma. Lovely old style suite with sandstone walled interior. Friendly reception staff & barman. Good wi-fi.
The cleaning staff were a bit hit & miss - had to go to reception for towels, coffee, etc, but room was very clean. This hotel is very good, but the service inconsistencies need addressing."
"This hotel is like an oasis of calm and tranquility in a bustling and vibrant city. It exudes elegance from the moment you enter the courtyard and the room didn’t disappoint- we stayed in the Royal Suite which has a private terrace with a view of the cathedral and King’s garden, a real gem of a find. The staff are so obliging, especially at breakfast which provides a real personal touch. The spa is a must, we had 2 hours of fun in the pool mixed with real indulgence and relaxation. Don’t want to...
"Great location overlooking the marina. Only a 10-15min walk to the cathedral area and old town. Close to some excellent bars and restaurants. Public transport also easily accessible from hotel. Breakfast was good value with great choice. Staff friendly and informative. A very enjoyable short stay. "
"We stayed for one night before flying home. The level has a lounge with tapas, snacks and drinks which was nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff very helpful. It was a very stylish hotel but still practical. We had a couple of minor problems in the room that if we had discovered them earlier would have been dealt with promptly. We would happily stay here again."
"Enjoyed our stay! The staff was quick to respond to our needs, and we found the bike rental very convenient. Recommend that North American visitors consider the larger rooms available. As first time Mallorca travelers, the Portifino Hotel met all our needs. "
"The city of Palma is redoing the street in front of the hotel and there is no signage as to how you access the property. Not very good signage oe
There is a disco right below on the ground floor that goes until 6 in the morning. "
"Television was not working on our occupation of the room.Maintenance man was very obliging and following trying over ten other televisions our coverage was restored."

"This was my third stay at this hotel. It is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. The hotel and outside spaces are well maintained. The hotel rooms are also very nice. The buffet restaurant has quality delicious choices. The only improvement would be the dessert selection - I have lactose intolerance and there was only fresh fruit on offer for me. Other than that, this hotel is wonderful. A short walk into Palma along the Marina.. just perfect. I’ll be back time and time again."

"Nice hotel with very friendly staff. We had a great variety of food for Breakfast and dinner though some food were quite salty for my taste. Had the suite on the 9th floor with beautiful views of the town and sea. However the toilet door didn't shut properly and the shower was a bit small for a suite and it can flood over. swimming pool was perfect. Overall I had a great time though the hotel caters almost entirely for Germans , the town of El Arenal is a German tourist areaarea; it can be overwhelming trying to avoid drunk German youngsters on the Promenade or being talked in German by the waiters all the time everywhere. Even disco night in the hotel was in German"
