Concierge breakfast's food and service needs an overhaul, I felt that every attempt to get breakfast was to be discouraged from enjoying my meal. Nothing was done in timely manner in terms of distribution of utensils, food, drinks and table cleanness (we had to clean our own table after someone.) Reception was great, the ladies at the front provided courteous and professional service, especially coming with two children. The stair to 2nd story buildings are of questionable safety especially with children, ask for 1st floor if bringing kids. The building with elevator is on par good condition but noticeable wear and tear on the exteriors area, you had to be careful of 1st floor sidewalk since it was falling apart and a potential tripping hazard.

We had a room looking onto the Rideau River, so it was nice and quiet, even though we were very close to the airport. Staff was friendly and professional. The room was a bit smallish and the shower was rather claustrophobic, but overall it was a very pleasant stay.

We really enjoyed the serenity here plus the close proximity to Starbucks, gas and food. There was a wedding going on the night we arrived. We didn’t hear a peep unless we had our door open. Very comfortable beds. I would happily stay again.

Lovely setting. Room needed some work. Floor coming apart in places. Bathroom very small. The grounds and setting of the hotel is unique and definitely would be very nice in the summer

What happened to me when I arrived at the hotel that day, I was surprised that when two female employees looked at me, they laughed nonstop. I don’t know why, but I waited until they finished. I ask this administration to review the cameras and investigate the matter so that this matter does not happen again.

It's awful. My room was in the second floor, there's no elevator and the staircase looks and feels like it's going to collapse at any moment. The bathroom was so small that you could barely close the door with no room to move inside at all. I woke up at 4 am to people making noise in a room nearby. I wouldn't stay there again.

Thank you for your review of Ramada Ottawa. I am sorry to hear of your recent visit. On our property we have three buildings without an elevator, these buildings have fire exit stairs on the outside which may be what you used however at each building entrance there is a large staircase which is very sturdy. Our deluxe rooms and king suites are larger rooms and have an elevator within that building which may be more to your liking for future reservations.

The property is advertised as hotel while it is actually a motel. The room is very small and the bed is supposed to take 2 while it is sufficient for only one.

Though we are an outdoor property hotel we are still classified as a hotel with the amenities we provide to our guests. For future reservations our Deluxe rooms and King suites are larger rooms which may be more to your liking. Thank you again for your review and we hope to welcome you back again in the future.

This was a nice property. The time of year was not good to comment on the property amenities. The breakfast included was okay but have had better at other hotel in the same price range.
