They gave us a room for 6 people and we were only three. The beds were futons and encapsulated, that definitely aggravated my sciatica, by the AM I couldn’t even get out of the “bunk bed” . My mom slept on the couch, (there was no way she could have got out of that bed) the surface was sticky, she had to put a sheet over. Also, the check out was 10am. Usually it’s 11am, I would not come back . And they were definitely not cheap, 15000 plus change (yen)…. Only good thing , they kept our luggage so we can go to the Osaka castle, and let us borrow umbrellas ( but any hotel would do it). We will not come back and I personally do not recommend it for a family of 3.

Location was perfect. It was close to the local train stations and about 8-10 mins walk to Dotonbori and Kuromon market. There’s a lot of restaurants to eat at and a lot of shops around the area.

We stayed in the family suite with 6 bunk beds for our family of 5. I did not have a pleasant stay and considered leaving on the first day, but decided not to since we were only there for 3 nights. Pros: walking distance to Dotonbori and subway stations. Cons: beds are not mattresses but more like futons, very thin and uncomfortable like sleeping on the floor. They also creak loudly whenever someone moves on the bed. The hallways are dingy and cold, and you can hear dogs barking throughout the day and people coming and going from their rooms. The laundry room is located in a back alley where they also use as a storage space. Laundry is also overpriced compared to ones we used in Tokyo hotels. The washroom is extremely small, and poorly laid out considering how big the rest of the room is. They could have expanded the washroom and cut off half the living space instead. Room isn't as pretty as the pictures, expect to see scuff marks on the walls. Surrounding area is safe but lots of garbage everywhere from all the party goers. Also they only offer luggage delivery if the receiving hotel agrees to pay on delivery, otherwise you'd have to bring your luggage to the Yamato office located 5 minutes away, which is what we had to do.

This hotel is in a great location, close to several subway lines, shopping, bars etc. It is perfect for younger people who pack lightly, like backpackers. We were traveling with my 70 y/o mother and we had 3 large suitcases which also had gifts for family we were visiting in Japan. The 4 bed room was similar to a capsule hotel (the 4 beds) with a living room and bathroom. My niece enjoyed the new experience but it was a bit hard for my mother.

Great location for walking the sights around Namba. Excellent directions provided on their website. Room had everything we needed, 2 sets of bunk beds perfect for our family of four (2a 2c). Foyer had microwave and tea/coffee which was helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Kamon Hotel is a great boutique style hotel with clean, functional facilities. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Had area to wait, coffee and tea machine, luggage storage and laundry facilities. Great location, walking distance to Dotonbori, transport nearby and all the food spots around Namba. Highly recommend!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside is the limited room space for the double twin bed room which made movement tough and using the luggage difficult. Location was great as it was walkable and near Dotonbori and Kuromon Market

Went to our room and immediately booked a new hotel. The room was poorly taken care of. The hotel is basically in an alley. There were dogs barking non-stop and dirty mattresses. Expedia was not help in fixing this issue.

location is very convenient, there are many eateries and near by namba station, however the room is pretty small specially if you have few luguages. hotel service is very prompt and polite. however, dryer need to be fixed, even after 1.5hrs its unable to dry our clothes with only half load.

Great hotel in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The Staff was amazing. The mats were thinner than our liking, but the convenient location made up for it.

It was a boutique hotel with a cool decor and vibe to it. While it was walkable to "the action", it was tucked away enough to be quiet and comfortable. Transportation and shopping were also very convenient. While the rooms are a bit on the small size (ours had 2 beds), they were comfortable, clean and the rate was quite reasonable. The staff was very nice and we had a very easy check in. We only stayed one night but certainly would do so again.

The location of the hotel is excellent! It is very close to the Kuromon Market, the railway station and walkable to Dontonbori. Staff were nice and the place is clean with comfy beds. The restaurant on the main level serves really good food. The only downside is the walls are not really soundproof. I was able to hear next door using the bathroom and sounds from outside the window when I sleep at night.

Really nice place to stay. Just a short distance from Nipponbashi subway and about 800m away from Namba station on Midosuji line. Main shopping district at Shinsaibashi station which is 1 station away from Namba station. Room was spacious for 4 people (Asian) and clean but do note that they don't clean the rooms everyday. They can just change your towels and bathrobe everyday. Need to leave trash and used towels everyday outside door for them to change. However, I must say their hospitality was great. Loved staying here and will definitely book them again in future. PS: There is a good small takoyaki/okonomiyaki place about 30 metres from hotel at a cross junction on the way to Namba station. Hotel sells mineral water at 50 yen per bottle which is cheaper than any convenience store.

Very convenient to Dontonbori, everything was a quick walk away. Room was spacious with plenty of seating, a small fridge and kettle. We had a three bunk room and as others have said the mattresses were incredibly thin and very hard so my husband ended up sleeping on the couch for greater comfort. I loved the little bunk pods though. Bathroom was functional. My son loved the dress-ups that you could try near reception- a nice touch. The restaurant downstairs was also excellent and the staff in there were lovely.

Location was fantastic. Cannot be beat. Right in the heart of Osaka, every direction you turn is an interesting market or fantastic restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were small, but sufficient.

This hotel is centrally located in the tourist area of Namba. We enjoyed our stay in the quad sharing room. Overall, it was clean, quiet and service staff did a good job. The breakfast was excellent. A few minor tweaks would have greatly improve our stay - a thicker mattress, firmer pillows, and a good clean of the carpet. It would also help to have a full length mirror in the room.
