This was a great all inclusive hotel..the food was good, very clean hotel,different options for activities and the staff was all helpful and friendly. The hotel is also kid friendly and has a lot of different activities to keep them entertained.I will definitely be back again.

Brianna, the young lady that worked the concierge's desk was the highlight of the hotel. She made sure everything ran smooth. But, the alcohol was so watered down and sweet it was hard to enjoy them. Also it was my first time at an all inclusive where everyone had their hand out for a tip.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a resort. First, we received a room that was not an ocean view. The staff argued with us about it. I have been to many resorts and never have I argued over the definition of an ocean view. When we were finally moved, they had given us and another family keys to the same room. They moved the other family. That night water poured into through the light fixture, the air conditioner overflowed. The good - the food was awesome! Loved the buffet which doesn't usually excite me. The wait staff was great! Arlene was was exceptional. One gentleman at the front desk was very helpful, most of the women were awful. Entertainment was enjoyable. Would never return to that resort!!

I don't think I'd stay here again. All pools close at 6pm, drinks are watered down, food doesn't taste authentic. If something runs out (drinks or food) they'll give you what they choose rather than ask. You need a towel card for towels which were not given to me upon check in. I had to walk all the way back from the pool to the lobby to obtain them and then when I came back, they ran out of towels. I didn't get my room until after 5pm and kept getting excuses. A lady at the sports bar looked at me in my face and watched me get up and leave rather than refill the tube of ketchup. My bf was turned away from eating at the buffet because he had on a tank top while I had the same top on and was told nothing. Women were inside with buttocks hanging out and were also told nothing. It was very selective to my opinion. I was also told the resort doesn't provide room service because it is too big however, staff is unprepared for such a high volume of people. This place is a joke I'm sorry. Maybe another location would be better. Good luck

The food was horrible. The elevators were not working. I had to take the stairs up to the 5th floor. Staff wasn’t pleasant. It was boring the same entertainment every night. Never again. My knee is swollen from all the walking up and down the stairs. So I spend most of my time in my room. Extremely disappointed

The ambience was great. I didn’t like the fact that upon arrival I was not greeted by a staff to assist me with my luggages. I was traveling with a baby and had to be carrying both my luggages and baby with no help. My room was extremely far and I had no idea how to find it and had to go on a wild goose chase to do so while carrying my luggage’s and my child. Extremely disappointing! Additionally, housekeeping didn’t show up and dining was always crazy as I had to seat myself my entire stay all throughout the days I stayed.

everything the staff is really nice. the buffet is good honestly i just rather eat at the buffet for $109 wr did dunn river falls, snorkeling for 45min & had a boat party with an open bar!!!’ you cant beat that! the kayaking was sooooo nice ! you come to clean room everyday! they fill your fridge its super cool the staff is super friendly

While I enjoyed the entertainment there were a few disappointing things. The elevators were not operating, we either had to use the service elevators with no air conditioning or walk 5 flights of stairs. No towels were at the pool; they were all out by 4 pm. We reserved a family room with a male and 3 females and the bathroom had no door. I had to change in the closet. With regard to food, it was not consistent it was good sometimes. I told them I was there for my birthday and nothing special was done. ..but overall it's average but I probably will to rebook

The property needs painting as well as the elevators need to be serviced since they don’t work for my entire stay. There’s also not enough elevators in each building so you have to walk so much to get anywhere. The food choices were not the best considering its the RIU. The staff were rude and not nice at all. Almost felt as if you owe them something. And everything is super expensive everywhere in the hotel especially the cabs. So take a lot of cash cause nothing is cheap.

Everything was great, food drinks, however the hotel need to be more helpful to the guest with the complementary shuttle to and from the airport, wasn’t much help there with this, the hotel can do better. Let the guest know at check in how to get back to the airport and who they need to talk too, I wasn’t the only one with this issue several guess he had the same issue getting back to the airport they charge $140 for the trip to the airport one way

Everything was great from arrival to our last day . The shows were extremely entertaining You’re never bored . They are very talented and makes you feel like home . What I loved that they randomly upgraded my room to an apartment suite and I got there extremely early so I assumed my room will be ready after check in 3pm and it was ready by 1pm which was amazing . Most of the restaurants were good besides the Italian . But the buffet was great . The staff was amazing super nice and friendly . At the swim up bar our fav bartender was Ricardo he was super nice and attentive . As the driver we had was Bernard from the free transportation he was great and we felt safe with him . As we all know it’s a family resort and most of the time it gets annoying with so many kids around this was the opposite alot of things were separated and I liked that the swim up bar had a sign that said no children allowed at the swim up bar . Thanks again for an amazing experience

The fact that a guest was smoking marijuana in room right across from me and i could smell it soon as i walk out my room and threw the hallways. The rooms and buildings are suppose to be smoke free.

My husband and I was here for our 26th Anniversary and we liked everything about the resort. There was always some activity going on! Never a dull moment at all. The first room we were in was musty and had a mildewey smell to it. We ended up switching rooms. The second room did not have that musty smell or feel. However the shower in the room was spotty. First all we had was hot water. Then we mentioned it to the front desk and the water evened out. However it was up and down cold then hot without adjustment the temperature. The staff was excellent very nice and helpful. But the over all resort could have used some touching up. Multiple spots on the walls that looked like water damage. Also food was just ok. It wasnt bad but it wasn't great either. That's from either the buffet or the restaurants in the resort. I understand it's not one of the newer RIUs but definitely expected more. It's not what you would expect from a RIU resort.

There were a few dining and front office staff that appeared to provide discriminatory service to guests. Black guests or locals as we were, were given poor service. The staff at the spa the day we went was genuinely hospitable and gave outstanding service! We are not quite sure about the tipping protocol at the property especially in the dining room - with all inclusive we do not walk about the property with cash - but some guests do and that may account for the young man's poor treatment at the dining area.

We particularly noted and appreciated the improvement in the condition of the beach; stones removed and vastly reduced seaweeds. The buffet food was significantly improved from previous trips but I missed my Brie at dinner. RIU Ocho Rios was our favorite but we were worried about the beach which was second only to Negril; thanks for restoring our faith. We will be back in August.

I wasn’t a fan of the food… the food could have been a little more authentic, didn’t think the upper management really understood when we tried to speak with them since English wasn’t there first Language. The entertainment was amazing, wish they had a little more on the schedule

The free shuttle sucks. we waited like 2hrs and was last drop off so we caught a personal van back. However food was good alot options the asian restaurant was the best. Think they needed more music it had several quiet times no reggae music playing we used pur own music with little speaker. The event guy asked us to come.back for the adult party but kids were everywhere with balloons The MJ show was amazing! They cleaned our room only one day and we were there for 5 days. Our toilet got clogged and got fixed right away, then the bathroom door u couldn't open from the inside so we had to leave it cracked open. Also all the electrical sockets were broke and stripped so we had to share one or use the one on opposite side of room. Beds weren't to comfortable but we had a great time. Staff was nice.

Property was nice and clean. View from the room was spectacular. The food in the main buffet was excellent, but the two restaurants I tried were not so great. Beach was nice and clean and the tree made it quite unique. Plan to return.

We arrived as scheduledWhen we arrived the lobby was immaculate. We stood in line got drinks and was then told our room wasn’t ready. Checkin was 3pm and it was well after 430. I was told they would let me know when the room was ready. We were told to look around and have a drink. I expected a phone call since my number was on file but none ever came. . 2 hrs later I went to desk to ask if room ready. A staff member went to check and said it was. We were escorted to the room and it was not what I paid for. I paid in full for a 2 double bed garden view room. We made it to the room exhausted of course. Once inside it was immediately noticeable that the room was not cleaned properly. I called to front desk and person answering said they would make a report and send someone up immediately. She asked what was dirty. I explained room was dusty dirt and hair on floor and I saw a roach. An hour later no one showed up so I called again and the guy answering asked me the same thing because he didn’t see a report of my call. When speaking to the female I inquired about the room and she said nothing is guaranteed and based on availability which is crazy if I paid my money in full at the time of booking. She then says that you aren’t paying for the bedding you’re paying for the view. Well needless to say didn’t get a view either. Our garden view was the back road, a dirt patch and a few trees. She tells me I can check out at noon the next day and then check back in at 3 to see if a new
