Clean and well presented house
Spacious and a beautifully presented home. We all had a fabulous time there and enjoyed the morning view from the balcony with a coffee.

Great place. Some shortcomings
Great place for a group. Well presented home with all you could need. We did experience some issues with cleanliness (dirty bedding, rubbish from previous guests left in bins, dog poo from previous guests in garden) which was frustrating but company apologised. House can be noisy if you are a light sleeper as main road goes very close. Bring ear plugs if so. No air con in bedrooms if that is an issue for you. Otherwise comfortable.

Hi Tony, thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your stay at Ocean Beach House & for the feedback. Great to know you found the home spacious for your group & well presented. We are very sorry that you found so many issues with the house, we use a Professional Linen Hire/Laundry for all our bedding so normally they are up to a very high standard. The outside wheelie rubbish bins are collected weekly by the Denmark Shire, so sometimes a pickup is missed if the bins are not put out by previous guests & the pickup day has passed for our Cleaners to put them out, this doesn't happen often. We agree it not nice finding dog poo in the back yard, we are sorry for this, we do a Pre-Guest check at our property before guests arrive & normally do check the yards but it was obviously missed this time. We haven't had complaints about the road being noisy before and there is both a pedestal fan & heater in all bedrooms so aircon is not generally needed. We hope you still enjoyed your time exploring beautiful Denmark despite the issues you found.

Perfect house
Absolutely loved staying at this property. Photos didn’t do it justice as it was even nicer. Laundry with washer and dryer was very handy. Kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of space to chill out. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely Place To Stay
We stayed here so my husband and two daughters could do the Bluff Knoll climb, and have a family weekend away to somewhere we hadn’t visited before. From the second we stepped in, we knew that we would enjoy staying in this lovely house. We felt at home straight away, and the house had everything in it that was needed and more. Would highly recommend staying here, and we will be back

Fabulous house. Beautiful view. Very relaxing. Close to amazing beaches. Lights beach is the best dog beach we've ever seen. Expensive after extra fees and charges. Dog door would be good.

Great location but a little noisy
Beautiful and large house about a 30 minute walk to Ocean Beach. House was well provisioned with necessities, and beds were very comfortable. The only real issue was the location next to the main road (it's right on the corner). Although I could see that on the map when I booked, I didn't realise the road would be so busy (especially late at night and early in the morning). Due to the weatherboard construction the sound really carried, especially to the main bedroom in the middle floor. If you're not a light sleeper it would be fine; if you are, either stay in the Master on the top floor or in the self-contained unit on the ground floor.

Excellent short stay
The property was in a great location and had views to Ocean Beach. A well stocked kitchen so we could cook our own meals. The house has separate living areas with comfortable couches and lots of extra touches such as games, DVDs and books. The beds were very comfortable. The check in process was easy. Would highly recommend for families.

Wonderful home and location!
We (2 families - 4 adults, 4 children, 1 dog) thoroughly enjoyed a stormy winter's holiday at Ocean Beach house. Would highly recommend it! Great location - close to ocean beach and short drive to Denmark town, Ocean Beach, Monkey Rock and Greens Pool. Great vineyards within 15 min drive. Nice warm fire in open living space and lots of wood for cold stormy nights. Kids had a ball and plenty of space for them to run around outside. Beds were comfy and there were lots of towels for us to use which was wonderful. Great BBQ. Host was fantastic - very responsive to any queries we had and arranged a tradesman to fix a broken light straight away. Can imagine the house would be even better in summer.

A fabulous quick get away. With 3 adults and 4 teenagers, there was plenty of space for everyone. Great views from balcony and only a short distance into town.

Time To Breathe
From the moment we drove through the gate one got a sense of calm and a feeling of being welcomed. The Ocean Beach abode delivered on all levels: it was very clean, tidy and thoughtfully decorated. The design of the house provided comfortable space to hang about or quiet nooks for anyone wanting some down time. Also the yard catered well for our Ridgeback (well secured and good space) but he was much relieved when ushered into the house to be with his pack. Thank you for everything :o)

Great location
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great amenities they have thought of everything having a great range of glassware sharp knives, blankets to keep warm in living areas, salad bowls and platters to name just some. Plenty of space for everyone. Highly recommended!
