“Surprisingly Great!”

I really didn't expect the Holiday Inn to be as nicely done as it was! It looked quite upscale and everything was beyond what I expected. The Sky fusion restaurant was exceptional!

“Good Place to Stay in Ocala”

This is a nice Holiday Inn. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. Be aware that you need to booked a room with double beds if you want a bathroom that has a bath tub. The first time we stayed in this hotel we had a room with a King bed and there was only a shower in the bathroom. I prefer a tub and when booking this past time when I inquired, this is how I found this out. The hotel is right off the interstate, so it is close to all types of shopping and eatery. Room rates were average. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive either. Overall good value for the area based on my own travel experience. Front desk employees were cordial. Would stay in this hotel again.

“Hghly Recommended”

The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very trendy but still nice. The lobby and downstairs lounge area is very nice. Loved they have a whirlpool & sauna along with a regular pool. However in the summer months the way the whirlpool is set up it is way too hot to use - mainly during the day. It is not at all what you would expect from a Holiday Inn - it exceeds all expectations.

“Nice Hotel - just make sure there's not a wedding that night”

Overall a very nice hotel. Everything was clean and in good working order. The only thing I can say bad about our stay was that we happened to be unfortunate in that we stayed the same night as a wedding reception. This is not the fault of the hotel, but the reception was extremely loud as our room was directly across the open atrium from the party as are most rooms. So we heard the party as if we were there. The DJ music went on until at least 11pm and the partying continued much longer after that. My kids slept fine (a tornado couldn't wake them), but I was unable to fall asleep until after the music ended. So, my advice is to call the hotel and ask if there is a party the night you are staying. If so, you may want to stay elsewhere if you want to sleep anytime before midnight.

“Worth the price.”

Pretty nice hotel. Only two issues 1. Breakfast was not included in my rate, and 2. Housekeeping came knocking at my door at 9am the morning of checkout, and opened the door before I got a chance to respond or get to the door. A part from those two issues, it was a pretty nice hotel.

“Great hotel for our wedding night”

This hotel was awesome! The rooms were great, the staff was friendly, (for the most part) and we will definitely go back should we have the need. The Sky Fusion Cafe on the top floor served excellent food, but the menu was a tad confusing, the room was a little too loud, and the hotel's promotional offer coupon was confusing, and poorly explained. It was also kinda pricey. Over all, we highly recommend this hotel.

“Ocala's #1 Convention and Stay”

The checkin and room service were exceptional and definetly, recommend to those travelers looking for a relaxing facility throughout. Access was abit challenging to locate even for the GPS to locate the entrance to this location. But once found I was relieved to find all in great character for this Hotel. Parking too was a bit challenging but a wedding reception was in full throttle so no real big issue. A small walk was good. Thanks for a great experience and easy reservation through the online service. Many thanks again

“Bed trap / restaurant closed”

I had heard how wonderful the Asian restaurant was at this hotel, and was looking forward to a wonderful meal after a long day of travel from New York. Hotel was difficult to find and I was lost for about fifteen minutes. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant was closed on Sundays (my arrival date). I also booked here because I was curious about the special Tempur-pedic beds used at this hotel. Very uncomfortable to me, maybe fine for others. I felt hot, and trapped as the bed molded to my shape and I woke up several times, unable to move around in my sleep. I felt trapped. Finally re-arranged pillows for better support and to keep myself from falling into the mattress.
