I reserved this hotel and let them know it was our anniversary. This was the first place I’ve even been to that didn’t offer anything to make it special. Even worse, I asked if we could at least have an hour or two late check out since our flight was later in the day and was simply told no. This was not the busy season and they refused to work with me at all. I could hear a lot of noise through the walls in my hotel room, and woke up to people getting in at 2-4am almost every night. We could also hear the elevator going up and down all night. There was a huge 2inch gap under the door that caused light to beam in our room throughout the night. VERY average hotel and not accommodating in anyway. I will definitely be staying somewhere else next time I visit Hawaii.

Wonderful hotel!!! The only complaint I had was the roosters in the mornings starting at 3:00 am every morning up on the 12th floor! Also if u are visiting and planning on getting a rental car, make sure you purchase the rental insurance! While we used the valet parking our vehicle had been attempted to be broken into and damaged!! The hotel IS NOT RESPONSIBLE abs they will make you fully aware of it!!!

Unless you are going to stay at the resort all day, and not explore the island or book any activities/ excursions then you could easily stay at a hotel and not a resort as during my stay I booked excursions and didn’t get a chance to use the pools, or gym. Therefore paying the resort fee was not needed. Staff were friendly and nice. The resort itself was clean. The concierge was great to have on site!

The location of this hotel was fantastic - we were able to walk everywhere without a problem - food, shopping, beach, etc. We did rent a car and the valet was fabulous - they were always very kind and had our car ready when we called for it. Our rooms were cleaned every day and our housekeeper made sure we always had what we needed. I loved that you could get towels, boogie boards or chairs with amenity fee - that was a bonus! The tower we stayed in was a little set back from the actual ocean, but it was great nontheless. Perfect for me and my son and a week in paradise! I would recommend a stay here!!
