Eagle Beach area is quieter than the high rise hotel area, which we liked. We enjoyed having a non-crowed beach at sunset and floating in the water watching the sun go down and waiting for the moon and stars to come out. There is a Super Food grocery in walking distance, so it was easy to get supplies and food to cook in the room. This resort isn't as big as the La Cabana next door, but if we needed ice cream or a big gift shop it was easy to walk next door. The small size helped with not feeling lost in a huge hotel, which we liked. High rise area only 5 minutes away by taxi if you want to go clubbing and come back to a quiet room. Great view of the beach and sunsets from our balcony. Would totally stay here again.

While this property may be a bit older, the apartment style rooms and building set up was great. The pool and bar on the property were very nice. You were right on the beach and the Passions restaurant, bar and staff were really top notch. The beach is stunning and the palapas with beach chairs were awesome.

The Amsterdam Manor was beautiful, the location perfect and Eagle Beach was stunning. The two restaurants on the property were lovely and the food delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating, I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful location for a relaxing vacation.
