"It was a very nice property. However, when checking in, their standard line was “we had a cancellation. You can get an upgraded room for ……”. What they don’t tell you, is that’s per night. So it doubled the original price I booked it for. They told our friends we were traveling with the same thing. We heard them saying the same thing to everyone in line. BAIT AND SWITCH! Beware. The Falls view room we did book is a peek a boo view from the side of the hotel. So when you get the upgraded room, you get a full view of the falls, but I’m not paying double per night for that! We ended up switching back to the original room, but I had to ask the desk what the total price is. She kept telling me it’s only …, not the total price for the 2 nights. She didn’t want to divulge the total price.
Also, the parking is between $35-100 per day. There is no free breakfast, we went off site for breakfast."
