“Do NOT stay at the Admiral Inn”

Our stay here was unpleasant, to say the least. The room smelled of mold, there was a leak in the bathroom, over the sink that dripped water constantly onto the floor. We didn't receive fresh towels until day 2 of the trip. It was located within walking distance to the local attractions, however, I will never, ever stay there again.

Social propriety won't let me use the words I would like to describe this diabolical place but to suggest that it is at all suitable accomodation is pushing it. The bedding had not been changed from the previous guest and it took me three trips to the desk to get someone to come to change and make up the bed. There is no bloody way I would ever go back there. The place is a pig-pen.

I read the reviews before booking this place and it must have been friends of the owner that posted the favourable comments about the place. The last time I stayed there was in 2000, things have not changed much. I found the sheets dirty and I had my concerns that it was not changed after the last occupants as I found dirt under the covers.

Our premise is that my husband travels worldwide for work and I have been able to join him at many locations. Our July, 2011 stay at the Admiral inn was one of the best hotel experiences we have had in our travels - personal and business. For us, location (safety), cleanliness, and quiet are the most important features in a hotel stay. The location is phenomenal if you are looking for a central spot. It is literally a 1/2 block from falls - which made us a little nervous considering how important a quiet room is to us personally. We were steps away from the subway, bus tour and theaters. Considering this location it is just short of amazing how quiet our *interior* room was. We do believe the rooms are soundproof and have never slept better in niagara as a result. Additionally, there were no loud/obnoxious people running around the hallways. In fact, even the cleaning staff was quiet (no radios blaring, excessive/loud talking or door slamming in the morning). We suspect this is intentional on the hotel training part.

“"much Better Than Expected””

Being so well recommended on Trip Expedia, we had high expectations. For only the second time in our three month trip, these expectations were exceeded. The FEEL of the hotel was one that you would hope for if you could articulate your wishes to encompass it. The service was exceptional and felt genuine. The location is even better than we envisaged. In the centre of things and yet away from the direct hustle and bustle. If there was a down side and you are particularly sensitive to this, then the street noise heard from the bedroom, would have to be it. Highly recommended. And thanks to the management for providing such a place.

If you a tossing up for a place to stay in Niagara falls, you are not going to go wrong with the Admiral inn I think what has been covered in previous posts is all true so I don't want to go into it too much, the service was up there with some of the best I had ever experienced (thanks Elizabeth and Ray), its very clean and the location couldn't be more central to Niagara falls. We had got engaged that day and had the romantic package organised, which was magical to walk into a room set up the way it was. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and the wine and cheese in the evening was just perfect.

Had an awesome stay at the motel....the packages were amazing because of which me and my family cud go to all the attractions at no cost......loved the place and wud go again and again
