Room-Mate Grace has no doorstaff, porter/bellhop, conference room, or restaurant. The front desk resembles a sidewalk newsstand and sells snack foods, liquor and beverages, and periodicals. But it does provide a Continental breakfast (surcharge), a pool social center, and a poolside bar.
A complimentary, 24-hour mezzanine social area at Room-Mate Grace centers around an indoor pool with underwater music and a service window for drinks from the hotel bar. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available.
Slate amphitheater seating leads from the pool to a red-tiled, unisex steam room and an expansive unisex sauna. Between them, a slate-lined communal shower room with glass side walls and bench contains five rain showerheads.
A DJ performs Friday and Saturday nights in the pool's amphitheater. When the DJ is not present, contemporary background music plays throughout the mezzanine level.
