“Clean, light, and comfortable!”
This was a really great, clean, light room! A quick 20 minute train ride to Manhattan made for an easy commute and its about 10,000 times nicer than any hotel in NY at this price that I have stayed in. Down comforter, big tub, and continental breakfast add to the clean, comfortable, basics.

Nice hotel and very nice bathroom. The area is a quiet neighborhood. It's about a ten minute walk to the subway that will get you to the city.

hotel service is very good, room is clean and quiet. But the location isn't convenient although it has about 10 minutes walk to G subway.
“Will Definitely Stay Here Again”
I was extremely satisfied with the Pointe Plaza Hotel. The staff was professional and helpful, the room spacious and clean, the beds very comfortable -- and everything 'worked' properly. I was a little concerned about parking, but they have a parking lot a short block away. The neighborhood was safe and close to restaurants and stores in the downtown Brooklyn area. I would definitely stay here again.
“Superb hotel!”
This hotel has the friendliest staff, nothing is too much trouble. Although out of central Manhattan they offer a free shuttle into the centre every morning. Very clean and extremely comfortable. The breakfast is very nice although dining can be a little cramped in the small breakfast room. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel when visiting New York.

Our stay at the Pointe Plaza hotel in Brooklyn NY was wonderful. The suite was spacious, modern and clean, it included a full kitchen. We got cable TV, wireless internet, air-conditioning, access to laundry and complementary continental breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous, and every request has been dealt with to our absolute satisfaction. From my partner:” The atmosphere of the hotel very peaceful. The rooms were very clean and welcoming The beds/bedding were of very high quality and I slept very well” At 30 minutes by subway from downtown Manhattan Point Plaza hotel in Brooklyn represents top value for anybody visiting NYC who does not want to pay exorbitant prices. “Very comfortable hotel”
It is a good choice to live in New York. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The only disadvantage is its location, a little far from the downtown area. But it offers free shuttle to time square and a reasonable price.

Pointe Plaza Hotel is clean and well-run,with helpful courteous staff. A little off the beaten path but worth it.
“Great value”
This was my third time in New York and this was the best value for money of the three places I have stayed. It may feel a little out of the way but the free shuttle to Times Square every morning makes it easy to access all the tourist hotspots. Really enjoyed my stay here
“On-the-Ground New York Experience”
I will likely book our next New York stay at Pointe Plaza. I spent five nights there with my four children, ages 15 through 22. We felt safe, our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff attended to all of our needs: they provided a roll-away bed, the billing was fair, they stored our luggage after we checked out, and they called a car for us when we returned that evening for our departure. If you want high NYC luxury, go somewhere else. But iIf you are a certain kind of traveler, Pointe Plaza is a wonderful find: if you can make good use of a subway pass, if you're up for authenticity, want a place to sleep soundly and catch an easy breakfast before you a day of big-city experience, Pointe Plaza is great. It's a bit of a walk to subway stops, but the Flushing Av bus runs consistently and helps if you're tired. It's a safe and interesting neighborhood, overall. We felt conspicuous walking in the heart of Hasidic territory, but it was rare pleasure to quietly appreciate minor access to a deep cultural enclave. Because we travel on a family budget, we happily patronized the nearby grocery store and corner markets. We bought 1-week public transit passes and scattered across the city: we visited Sugar Hill in Harlem, walked the Brooklyn Bridge, "did" the MoMa and Met, hung out in Williamsburg, ate great food in Chinatown. We came home to the Pointe Plaza after each busy day, slept very well, and went out again. For us, this place was really perfect.
