“Good Hotel for the location and price”
Although the rooms were pretty small for a family of four, The stay was comfortable and conveinent. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and courteous.
“Excellent economy hotel”
This hotel met all of my expectations and the price was well worth it. I came for a short vacation and intended to visit Manhattan a lot. The hotel is about 8 minutes walk away from the 7 train that takes you straight to Times Square and I was comfortable walking to and from the hotel at all hours of the day and night. I did not have a lot of interaction with the hotel staff but when necessary they were helpful. Free wifi was excellent. I am a clean freak and I was very apprehensive about the room when i saw the price but I must say it was immaculate. Sheets were clean and the bathroom as well. All in all an excellent hotel that I will surely visit again!!!
“Queens Hotel with Free Parking”
The hotel was just as we expected. The room was clean and the staff was more than helpful. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy but we had no problem walking to and from the subway station, even at night. It was only a few blocks away, which was very convenient. We were able to leave our car in the parking lot no problem, and for free! The parking is extremely limited, so be aware of this before hand. It seemed that there was available street parking for free as well, but we were lucky and got a parking lot spot.
“Good hotel”
It's a descent hotel for the price you pay. They may not have an elegant lobby, but the room is adequately filled with essential amenities. It's clean and comfortable. The best of all which I wasn't aware of, they provide to you at no costs if you have forgotten something from your toiletries. Just ask for it at the help desk. The hotel could have more parking space. But if you don't have a car, it wouldn't matter to you. The neighborhood consists mostly of Filipino and other Asian establishments. There's also your American fast food chains McDonald's, Burger King, White Castle around there too. The hotel is convenient to a Drug store, restaurants, etc., and the subway station is just a few blocks from it and is close to LaGuardia Airport. Overall I am satisfied with this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cheap hotel to stay in.
“not good”
I was not able to properly supervise the high school kids I had with me since there room was one floor below mine and the hotel could not fix it. The picture for the hotel on line looked a lot nicer than what the hotel was upon arrival. The beds in the rooms were very much on top of each other due to the rooms being so small and the bathroom was small also. The room was hot when we got into the room and took forever to cool off since the AC was not on at all during the day until we got into the room.
“Affordable, comfortable and reasonable! Definately a revisit!”
We arrived very early and they were able to accomodate us with a room right away. The rooms were clean and excellent with coffee maker in the room. The staff was helpful and always brought us towels when we asked no matter what time. It was nice and close to the train which made it easy to get in and out of Manhattan easily. I highly recommend this hotel to people travelling to NY and don't want to pay a lot of money. We had a great stay!
“Very bad”
This Hotel is awful. The room is very small and full of some smell. It faces to the street and it was loud in the night. The AC condition is bad and made noise in the night. The bed were very dirty and there were some unknown spots, probably blood on the bed. There also could be some BED-BUGs, I might get bite last night. This Hotel is very far from the Subway, you need travel 7 blocks from Hotel to No.7 Woodside. Anyway, the District of the Location is also very dirty.
“A bit of a walk to subway.”
This was a nice little hotel in a quaint neighborhood (Woodside). Oh course, any neighborhood at night in New York (especially Queens) makes a visitor a little uneasy but we had no problems at all. The hotel itself is in need of a few minor repairs but is very clean. The service was good. The breakfast is just two types of cereal, muffins, juice and coffee, but it's free. It's 7 blocks from the Subway and the LIRR, however you quickly get used to walking a lot so it doesn't feel too bad after the first or second day. The room was nice. A little cramp in the bedroom itself, but the bathroom felt spacious. There's a Rite-Aid nearby and restaurants that deliver to the hotel.
“all fine accept for the water damage due to rain, vacuum cleaner used till very late”
For the amount of time we spent in the hotel is was ideal, we were also very near the train station which made it great. We will recommend this to anyone who just wants a nice clean room to sleep and tour during the day. Also there were quite a few nice pubs as well as take aways in the area.
“Was not impressed at all.”
Room way too small, no, ice machine was not working, no accessable microwave nor refrigerator. The hotel service was extremely poor. We needed towel and they took like an hour to replace our towel. aweful service! however, good continential breakfast in the mornings
