Independent in Nara

Nara is a walkable neighbourhood that's popular for its restaurants. The neighbourhood's friendly people and festivals are just a couple of its charming qualities. Many visitors come to bask in its beautiful outdoor settings, namely the gardens, forests, and flowers. Nara is a great home base for exploring the greater Ikoma area, especially with so many hotels to choose from.

Getting around Nara

To see the sights outside of town, hop aboard a train. Shinomiya station is the closet train station, but Takanohara station and Nara Tomio Station are also nearby.

At 35.3 km (21.9 miles), Osaka (ITM-Itami) is the closest major airport to Nara. Kobe (UKB) is the next closest airport, 52.7 km (32.8 miles) away.
