“Napoli Garbage Problem very bad -close to hotel”
The Hotel is good at a good location in Napoli-unfortunately about 100 meters (100 yards) in most directions the streets are very dirty garbage has been not collected for weeks and months and has a very bad impact on entire stay in Naples(Napoli) We could not wait to get out of Napoli the smell, dirt in streets is very bad it is unfortunate but we can not recommend to go to Napoli unless yoy really have to
“Fine stay”
We spent one night before boarding a cruise ship. Very convenient. Air conditioning was not available and we had to leave our sliding glass door open. The noise was difficult to endure through the night. Overall it was a nice stay. Great view of the water with a balcony and clean.
“Quality at an affordable price”
Perfect Service, beautiful view. Clean, well kept, convenient.
“Excellent Location”
Me and my wife stayed for 2 nights in Naples, to visit the city, the Pompeii ruings and spend the afternoon in Positano. The hotel infrastructure is very good, well above the typical european hotel, with Bar, swimming pool in the roof, etc. The location in front of the Castel Dell'Ovo is fantastic, with fresh air brezze, beautiful view on the bay, and many excellent restaurants only meters away. Also, in front the hotel there's a stop for the hop-in, hop-off touristic bus, which we like to do everytime we arrive in a new town. In the lobby of the hotel you can reserve tours if you like to the sorrounding cities, but with a 10 dollar taxy fare you can reach the Train that takes you direcly to the Pompeii Scavi station in front of the ruin. The hotel also has parking (20 EUR / day).
“Did the Job”
This place was a little better than "Adequate". While the view of the Bay is beautiful and the rooms were clean, the bed was as hard as a rock and the air conditioning was turned way down (almost off) during the nite. Thinking I had booked a "Superior" room, I was initially taken to a small spartan room facing a building. After inquiring and agreeing to pay 30EUR more per nite I was gladly moved. If I return I would explore other options, but an OK place to get to Amalfi , Vesuvio, Capri etc...
“Great View and Room”
Upon checking into the Hotel we were informed that we were receiving a "small" upgrade for reasons we do not know. Well this was not a "small" upgrade. We ended up getting an ocean front room. The room was clean and updated while retaining it originality. US customers will love that most of the TV channels are in English. Good continental Breakfast. Nice Pool and Views from everywhere in the Hotel. The Hotel is located close to everything that needs to be seen in Naples. The area around the Hotel is nice and safe (by Naples standards) to walk around and eat. For those people driving to this Hotel - Simple to get to and from the highway and port. Also, private garage parking for all Hotel guest for a fee.
“Great location”
We stayed for only 2 nights, but were treated very well. The location and view can't be beat. Fine food on strip and across the street. Staff were friendly and helpful, with directions and transportation. The view from the pool area is spectacular.
“Not a warm fuzzy feeling!”
We were travelling as a family, booking basically two rooms for 4 days in each city over a six weeks period. Our requests were simple. Two rooms either ajoining or next to each other. Not a big ask. We were told by the Royal Continental we were lucky we were on the same floor.Okay fair call, but this is not five star service. The restaurant staff were surley and stand offish, the pool was empty (no madam we don't fill the pool till May),the walls are paper thin, with the noise of other guests disrupting us through the night, the toilet flush, the electric shutters, voices and banging (don't ask)! While the view over the Bay of Naples is spectatular, it's not enough to get me to stay at this hotel again.
