“Great if you want to stay by the train station!”
We picked this hotel because we wanted to stay close to the Napoli Centrale. The location is great if that is your goal - it's about a five minute walk. The area around the train station isn't the greatest but we felt safe walking to our hotel and the hotel itself was quite nice with friendly staff.
“Not at all what it seemed, very dissapointed!”
My husband expected more, but the whole area was terrible, the pictures look nicer than what my husband experienced. The breakfast buffet included, was horrible, food out all morning and stale. Would never stay there again, thank goodness I only booked for one night.
“Best Value in Napoli with Excellent Transportation for Day Trips”
We stayed four days and three nights in May 2011. Rooms were clean, adaquate, and loved the AC. Breakfast was good with convenient times. Hotel staff were helpful and most spoke some english. Metro and Public Bus were some 75 yards from front door - convenient location for day trips to Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri. Loved the city - be aware of your surroundings (pickpockets), and enjoy the intensity of this most vibrant of Italian Cities. We consider this hotel a best value in Naples, and will stay again when we return.
“Solid, clean place”
Close to train station and bus to airport. Secure and very clean inside. Breakfast was continuously stocked and the staff very helpful for our stay. We were a family of four with two middle grade kids. My kids eat a LOT, and they were very satisfied with breakfast. Be diligent outside of the hotel like you should be at any other train stations/major transportation hub.
“A nice place to stay”
During my short visit to Naples, I wanted to stay near thecentral train station. It's not the best area of the city, but this hotel is a small oasis. The staff was helpful and friendly (though the waiters in the morning breakfast room were not) and enhanced my stay. The room was average in size, clean and comfortable. Not at all fancy, but in keeping with expectations of a European 3-star hotel. The bathroom was pretty large, with plenty of hot water and water pressure. I did hear some noise from the hallway, especially with some teenagers staying during a school break. Yet, I was not disturbed by external noise, and Naples is a large, noisy, and congested city. The area around the hotel is busy. The hotel is basically around the corner from the main train station and convenient for arrival, departure, and out of town day trips. A short walk to the old section of town, about a 20 minute walk to the Archeological Museum, and about a 30 minute walk to the waterfront. There are transit options readily available, should you prefer. Morning breakfast was of good quality with ample selection of items and helped to get each day off to a good start. I'd not hesitate to stay at this hotel again should I return to Naples.
“Will recommend to all my friends!”
LOVED the AC in my room and extremely friendly and helpful staff...breakfast was wonderful in a very cheery room. I will return if I'm in Naples again!!
“centrally located hotel”
nice hotel, relatively large rooms, poor breakfast
“Not great”
Hotel was clean, but the room was small - even by European standards. The windows were soundproof, which was great as Naples could be noisy. The hotel wasn't located in a great part of town but we were only in Naples one night before we continued our travels, so it wasn't a big deal. This is an average hotel for the price. It's fine as long as you're looking only for a place to put your head and not much else.
“Don't Rely on the Wake-Up Call”
The hotel is clean enough, and central to Naples train station to make it a good choice if you need to get out of Naples the next day, but don't rely on their wake-up call. We asked for a 5am wake up call to make an early morning train. I woke up at 5:40 - the call hadn't come! When we checked out, they said the call had been made - no way! The area around the hotel is not clean and not attractive at all, although the hotel itself is clean. The price is also good for an Italian city.
“close to train station”
Opposite the train station so ease of transport is great. Accommodates 2 adults and 2 teenage children in one room which is good. The only downside is that we were invaded by a school of unruly children that made sleep impossible till the wee small hours but thats not the hotels fault but lack of supervision from teachers.
