The property itself is beautiful. Lovely beach, hot tub, patios etc. Our room desperately needed updating, but was clean and comfortable. Stayed in the hotel portion, not the privately owned part.

Not worth it.
Hot tub is nice. Restaurant is a let-down. Expensive basic food that had to be made twice to arrive at the table warm. Bed needed to be replaced years ago. Bathroom was recently well updated. Hot tub was best part of the stay, open till 10pm.

Weekend retreat

We stayed there while visiting family. The property is naturally beautiful with access to the beach walk. The restaurant staff was friendly and efficient, and the suite had everything we needed. We didn’t use the pool, hot tub or gym, but they all looked well maintained and inviting.

Overall location and included amenities if you have time to use them are very good. I think you are rented rooms from a time-share pool, so the rooms have lacked updating you would expect at a commercial resort at this price point

What a wonderful experience really recommended for people with pets, and without pets such an easy access to nature and kids activities. The pool was amazing outside pool in October

IT IS NOISY
I have stayed here before with my son and grandkids and we had a great time, lovely place. I just stayed on my own and let me tell you... IT IS NOISY. I was awakened at 6am by neighbours, the walls are paper thin. I thought at first there was something going on outside until I realized I could hear everything from my neighbours, on both sides and above me. If you value peace and quiet this is not the place for you. Great for families though. I know both sides of the same coin.

It was like going to a resort in Mexico, however one small thing is would be nice to have breakfast options, otherwise you have to go into town for food.

The property is gem sitting so close to the ocean. The property has so much potential! Lovely setting and building structure. The property needs some updates. Please consider installing ice machines which are accessible to guests. Also property landscaping and grass areas need some attention. Having a family game bocce ball area in front of rooms isn’t ideal.( noisy) No shampoo or soap in rooms. Some rooms have robes others don’t. Love the location near ocean and trails and also easy access to Parksville. Consider having breakfast at your restaurant also maybe open Mondays too during busy times. It would be nice to have food available each day. This resort has potential to be a favourite family destination yearly.

This was a beautiful find! The beach was a very walk away from our suite. If ur into nature shows look no further. Grab a seat on the rocks in the late afternoon / early evening and u might be able to see the whales jump around. The seal are swimming right in the cove. We had a wonderful stay. Weather was great. Rooms r cozy. Staff was great. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a queen room with sofa. The room was meh, mediocre. Out dated, the bed had a broken mattress cause it to dip you to the middle and some cob webs on the ceiling. There is also NO a/c in the room, it had been plus 30 so the room was very hot and the staff had left all the lights on so made it hotter. Did not expect no a/c. Also our room was a joining room and where the door is the other side had the lights left on letting in alot of light. When I told the front desk about the mattress being broken all we got was a sorry and they would let maintenance know. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel and it closes at 9pm but has pizza and appies until 10pm, but this is not the case kitchen was all closed by 9pm. So all in all this room was not worth the 280.00 a night.

So peaceful
If you want quiet and peaceful, this is your place. It is just far enough away, that it is quiet. The sunset/sunrise walks on rocky beach were perfect. The tide was out in the morning and you could walk out so far and see so many things. You could Kayak at high tide. Pool was clean and nice. Outdoor kid pool was fun. So many little paths to walk around. Little gazebo with chairs and lights and little fireplaces right on the edge of the ocean. Picture perfect. Hotel room, a little outdated. That didn’t bother us too much since we weren’t spending that much time in it. The bed was very comfortable.
