Our peaceful week
Yarrawonga Cottage is modern, well equipped and attractively presented. Its rural setting with occasional kangaroos and flocks of rosella and cockatoo, magpies and butcher birds, is delightful. We enjoyed meeting the property's owners and their pets - a treat for guests!

Cherish the silence
Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bedding and lounges. The kitchen has everything you might need from coffee in the morning to 4 course cuisine. Lounge room is air-conditioned and ceiling fans cool the bedrooms. Deck has very comfortable furnishing and is ideal for bird watching or a relaxing drink. Fresh eggs and milk were waiting for us on arrival. It’s a very peaceful retreat yet only minutes from the shops, services and eateries (numerous and excellent) of Mudgee. Highly recommended.

Yarrawonga Park Cottage
This cottage was amazing, we had a 2 night stay, and loved it. Cottage is in a quiet picturesque setting away from the hustle and bustle. Relaxing, and comfortable, great native wildlife, only 10 minute drive to town. Brilliant wth nice personal touches such as toiletries, milk, tea, coffee, fresh eggs from the chooks, made our stay very pleasant!

Beautiful farm cottage
I stayed with my family at the cottage over Christmas and we had a wonderful time. The cottage is very nice and incredibly clean. The balcony has a lovely view and we enjoyed relaxing in the morning and evenings and watching the kangaroos and farm animals pass by. I would highly recommend this cottage for your Mudgee holiday.

Blissful country retreat
Robyn and Darryl were the perfect hosts of this immaculate cottage in a stunning and an idyllic setting. Our puppy loved the freedom running around the fenced off grounds and watching the kangaroos and meeting Kevin the pig. The cottage provided everything you could need including the thoughtful extras; fresh eggs, complimentary wine, toiletries and wireless phone chargers. Everything has been thought through in fine detail to make the guests feel very welcomed. Book today, you won’t be disappointed ❤️

We loved the cottage so much! It was so clean and cozy, I would definitely stay there again. The fresh eggs, wine and milk were a delight to find. My Cavoodle was having the time of her life playing in the large land and waking up to the birds, kangaroos and tranquillity was exactly what we were after.. it was pure bliss! I highly recommend this gorgeous cottage! Thank you Darryl and Robyn :)

this is the first time we have stayed in this type of Accommodation , i.e. Detached cottage / Farm Stay type , I didn't know what to expect but found this property to be absolutely perfect , modern , clean , quiet / secluded with built in wildlife (Kangaroos and Ducks) all the little extras like eggs , wine, Tea / Coffee , and so on show that the owners have "read" the target market to perfection. Well done and we hope to be back some time.

Perfect getaway for the whole family
This was an awesome find. So much fun for the kids and us parents too: feeding and patting the gorgeous animals and collecting eggs; watching the kangaroos; drinks, nibbles and chats around the fire pit; taking in the peaceful rural setting from the veranda; and only 5min from Mudgee when we forgot to get more milk (and also close to the great pubs and wineries which we loved too). The cabin had everything we needed and was toasty warm on frosty mornings. And to top it off, Robyn and Darryl are the best hosts we have ever come across. Thanks so much for a family holiday that we will be talking about for years. We hope to come back soon.

Tranquil setting
The cottage was everything that was advertised and more. The extra little touches was very welcoming. Well decorated and the the space was good for the 4 of us. Loved the calm tranquility of the cottage and surroundings. Even though the cottage is close to private residence we actually felt miles away. Only seen owners when they were feeding farm animals. Awesome place for us to have our family catch up and all went home feeling very relaxed.

A truly beautiful stay!
We had a wedding to attend in Mudgee and chose this accommodation to stay at for 2 nights. Darryl & Robyn’s property is absolutely stunning! The cottage was extremely clean and fresh. Everything was modern & had everything that you needed. Check in experience was easy. - Beds are super comfortable! - Shower has great pressure. - Easy to keep clean. We had 4 adults & my 10 month old daughter staying with us and it fitted us comfortably. Such a bonus to have complementary fresh farm eggs & an excellent coffee machine. Thank you Darryl and Robyn.

The property was just as it had been shown online, it was clean and fresh. There was a bowl of eggs in the fridge which had been collected from the hens onsite that morning and also a complimentary bottle of red wine. The surroundings are beautiful and very relaxing. The hosts were very helpful in the leadup to our visit in answering a couple of enquiries. We would definitely stay there again, highly recommended.

Such a lovely clean cottage we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Some lovely extra surprises left by the owners for us to enjoy, we loved the red wine, fresh eggs, milk, drinks and great coffee machine. Such a quiet location with plenty of room for our dog to roam around safely. Easy quick 5 mins drive into town. We will definitely be back when in Mudgee. We had a lovely long weekend in Mudgee. The property was spotless and the host was very helpful and friendly. The property is set in a relaxing rural setting, however it is really close to Mudgee and all the amazing wineries.

Excellent country stay
The environment was excellent, communication superb. After reading the reviews I feel we missed out on the normal Darryl and Robyn hospitality as they were away. Definitely missed the spa! A dinning facility for 4 indoors would have been good. We asked for extra chairs so we could play board games, they were brought promptly. The bathroom door was definitely an issue and was reported in September! With a couple of minor alterations I would give the stay 5 out of 5.

I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Mudgee. The property is stunning and so clean, and the location is perfect for a country getaway. The hosts (and their neighbours) are so kind and generous and made sure our stay was memorable. Our little boys (aged almost 3 and 1) had an absolute ball. We will definitely be back.

Lovely setting on acreridge ..very private and close to town..Immaculate and couldnt fault anything about the property..Kitchen equipped with every conceiviable items..couldnt have had a most enjoyable 4 day get away.. Beds were also so comfortable ..Our dog Dora seem to like it too!!!!

What an amazing cottage with peaceful views. Absolute serenity. The hosts were so kind, and allowed my kids to collect eggs, roast marshmallows on the fire and ride on the golf buggy. The cottage was immaculate, and supplied well. Would definitely recommend, and we'll be back for sure.

Perfect stay during Winter break
We were warmly welcomed to this beautiful, clean cottage during winter with fresh eggs, bottle of wine, milk and everything we needed - home away from home. Our fur baby enjoyed running around the grounds. It was warm and peaceful, 10 mins to Mudgee town. Communication with Robyn and Darryl was a joy and they made our stay a dream.

Lovely weekend getaway
My family and I recommend the cottage to anyone that appreciates clean and modern accommodation, friendly and welcoming hosts, mixed with a sprinkle of farm life experience. Our daughter loved collecting eggs each morning, and feeding hay to the cows. Our little dog also relished in his walks around the dam and frolics around the property. Anyone who see's this property online should come and stay. You will soon agree with us that it is the perfect little getaway.
