Saint Sulpice
This is a beautiful hotel and the service is good. However eating at the hotel is very expensive. I would suggest walking 2 blocks and there are many great places to eat.
Neighbourhood recommendations: We liked all of the Old Montreal district. It reminded us of Paris.
A little bit of French perfection
I chose this newly remodeled boutique hotel based on its "heart of old Montreal" location and "Boutique" status. It certainly was a little bit of French Perfection!! Everything was as promised and more! Definitely check with the concierge - Etienne Bellemare - he is worth his weight in gold!!! And the restaurant manager Daniel is in competition with Etienne for "MVP", although the whole service staff was above and beyond perfection! Perfect location, new, beautiful furnishings, unbelievable service, what more do you need???
Neighbourhood recommendations: Definitely Old Montreal. It is wonderful to be able to walk to everything and there is always something going on!!! And the Restaurants- Magnifique!!!
What a hidden GEM
The accomodations were outstanding, service was superb, and the location was in walking distance to so much. We I go back to Montreal this is the only place I will stay.
Neighbourhood recommendations: Old Montreal is a unique blend of old world charm in a modern city. Great restaurants and shops...

General Information
What to expect: Le Saint Sulpice Hotel draws its name from the neighboring Sulpician Seminary, one of the oldest buildings in the city, and its personality reflects the graciousness of surrounding Old Montréal. The relaxed charm of this European-style hotel draws visiting film celebrities and business travelers who appreciate the efficient, stylish guest suites.
Amenity highlights: Centuries-old exposed stone walls in the lobby and guestrooms are a reminder of the building's history. The intimate street-level bar and restaurant has quickly made a name for itself with visitors and locals alike. The menu features a large selection of fresh seafood and regional specialties. A business center with computers and printers complements on-site secretarial and translation services (fees charged).
Insider tip: The hotel’s courtyard terrace is one of the few places in the city with a view of the private Sulpician Garden, surrounded by thick stone walls. The garden, tended according to medieval monastic principles, has been in continuous cultivation and use since 1686.
