“Loved Montreal and enjoyed the Hotel and it's perfect location!”

Great value and stellar location. Can't wait to go back!

Area recommendations

Definitely the downtown. It's where the action is and it's very strategicaly located in relation to St. Joseph's church, the old city, Mont Royal Park and the Olympic Park/Botanical garden/Insectarium.

“Not overly impressed.”

Compared to other Sheraton Hotels we've stayed in- this was pretty disappointing. The swimming pool was being renovated, although we weren't informed of this prior, and had to ask various staff members for clarification as nobody knew what was going on! The bar was out of action too. The bed was really small- I reckon 1 3/4 size and was side on to the TV, so you got a sore neck if looking at it for any length of time! The chambermaid turned up at 5pm the first day so far too late to service the room, and the family next to us had a barking dog (!) who kept us up at night and woke us up in the morning. You also had to pay $3 to keep your bags in the baggage room after check out, when this should really be complimentary. You got the impression nobody was overly concerned if you weren't happy. A shame.

“never want to go back”

i would never go back there. excpet for location, there is nothing good about this hotel. construction should be mentioned on their website now. they were jackhammering 8 in the morning on Saturday and spa is under renovation so we couldn't use it. also, their mattress was old and it felt like jello.

“recommend the hotel to others”

The hotel is in the central of everything, next block to shops and restaurants. Ladies if you like shopping go for it. Hotel service is great, room is great and comfortable.

“Happy Customer!”

This hotel is wonderful! I couldn't have asked for better customer service. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Anything we needed they were quick to provide. The hotel is gorgeous and our room was impeccably clean. The bed was sooooooo comfortable! The room wasn't huge but was the perfect size for my boyfriend and I during our three night stay. Everything you need is at your fingertips; an internet station near the front desk with multiple computers and a tv, a convenience store on the lower level and a pool. It's location is within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars and clubs. It's also withing walking distance of most of the attractions including Old Montreal and Chinatown. There's a Metro station nearby as well. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again! I highly recommend it.

Take the 747 Express Bus from the airport. Got us there super fast and for only $8.

Getting around

Walk if you're able. You'll see more of Montreal this way. It's a very walkable city and smaller than it seems on maps.

Must see

Old Montreal - Must see! The locals don't call it Old Montreal though. Its down by the waterfront so just walk towards the water and you'll run into it like we did. A beautiful surprise.

“Extremely convenient location”

20 minutes on foot to Vieux Montreal. 10 minutes to Parc Mont Royal. 5 minutes by Metro to Plateau Mont Royal. And the airport express bus drops off a block from the hotel. A great base for exploring Montreal.

“Nice Place”

The hotel itself was great. Room was nice. Also had a pool and workout room. The restaurant is overpriced and only open until early afternoon but we expected as much from a hotel restaurant. The hotel is very close to 2 main streets: Peel and Crescent, which both contains shops and other dining options. We were not at a loss for places to eat. The hotel is however a bit far from Old Montreal (about a 20 minute walk). But this wasn't a major issue. I would recommend this hotel to someone traveling to Montreal.
