This hotel was so convenient and cozy to stay in. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

We do a lot of trip research and this has never happened to us before, but it was so awful we left and booked and 5 star hotel on the other side of town. The lobby bathrooms we dated and filthy. There was urine all over the floor in the mens rooms and when we came back 3 hours later when the the room was to be available there was still urine all over the floor. The bottoms of the leather chairs in the bar were worn to the point of being ripped. The room did not line up with the photos we had seen and it was like and ugly functional business hotel box with frayed phone cords and no amenities not a hotel for tourist. no mini bar and the rooms super modern feel were totally incongruous with the historic building. The staff were all lovely and professional. Fine for business travel, but don't book it for your vacation.

Wonderful hotel, with lovely landscaping
Wonderful hotel, love the landscaping—very refreshing refuge from busy city. Everything was perfect. The best part was staff—all very kind and friendly. Especially Daniel at reception who made us feel at home, gracias Daniel!!

Thank you to the Oceania staff. Outstanding service from start to finish from all staff. Room spotlessly clean really comfortable well air conditioned, relaxing pool area, quiet outside lunch spot, beautiful period decor with modern room. Would love to stay longer and would definitely return - highly recommend this discreet gem in a very central location.

This hotel was beautiful and well situated to explore the city. However, parking was extremely difficult and poorly explained ahead of time. In fact, gaining access to the parking garage and understanding how to obtain a ticket etc. was very stressful. We parked the car elsewhere and walked to the hotel to speak with reception. The staff were very, very helpful and took walked us through the process on how to park the car. Thank you.

Great Hotel. Clean. Beautiful. Amazing breakfast. Both elevators were down and they do not put signs on each floor to let guests know that there is a third elevator in the back they can use, so I had to go down four floors with my heavy luggage in my hand.

This hotel is a gem. I have been staying here for years and it just gets better. A key quality is that the AC in the room is excellent. This is essential in Montpellier in the summer. For first timers to the south of France, beware that many hotels have poor AC systems and rooms can become unbearably hot. PS. I also appreciate the high end Nespresso machine in every room!

Lovely hotel in a great location, 1min from the train station and 5 min walk to the main square. Staff were very friendly, however they did seem to be understaffed in the bars and reception. Swimming pool is small so gets busy very quickly and there are only around 4 sun beds and 6 chairs.

Central hotel
Really like the hotel and the staff were all lovely. The public areas are traditional but our room was modern with a huge shower. The gardens are the perfect oasis from the city for a drink or a meal. My only regret is that due to a train strike delay my arrival we didn’t have the time to use the pretty outdoor pool.

We had a great stay in this hotel. Nice place, friendly staff, close to the center with a swimming pool. Very pleasant when it’s hot. Unfortunately a part of the hotel was on renovation and the restaurant was closed so I guess the hotel is even better when the renovation will be finished.

This hotel is very close to the train station and it’s just a short walk to the centre of town. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was fine for the size of hotel. The renovations in main lobby of the hotel were a bit of a letdown which is a shame.

Parking was in an underground car park and safe. Hotel quite hard to find with gps as tram roads and closed roads overall a good hotel

Loved loved loved the Oceania Metropole in Montpellier! We enjoyed our stay very much! The hotel staff was welcoming and very friendly. They arranged for pick up from and to airport. The rooms were large and comfortable.. modern.. very clean! Nice towels and comfortable mattress and pillows. The location is perfect.. near the Comedie square and within walking distance to most restaurants and activities. The Polygone shopping mall was close by as well. I recommend highly staying at the Oceania Metropole Hotel!
