2/10 Terrible

"There was no bureau in my room. No place to put my clothes for a 4 night stay. A few clothes hangers in an open rack and a couple of hooks on the wall. WHAT????? There was no suitcase stand in the room. I called the front desk to request one, or a small table or something to put our suitcases on, rather than the floor. Request denied. There was one office type chair and a narrow bench for seating. Only half the bench had a cushion on it. So we put our suitcases on the floor and dug around in them for 4 days like we were staying in a 1970's boarding house. Absolutely ridiculous. Worst hotel experience I've ever had and I have traveled extensively. I will never ever stay in a TRU by HILTON ever again."

"Our fridge, cable and sink drain did not work on check in. Plus the walls and accent chair were not clean looking. I called to ask to move rooms it was full, so a maintenance personnel came to fix the issues. He was able to fix the cable and drain, not the fridge. I wouldn't go back to this hotel."

"We stayed in a club room and I had upgraded to get the family suite so we would have more room and I paid an extra $70 plus tax, so $100 Canadian. I have to say I was disappointed. the room was a bit dirty, there were crumbs on the floor and there was absolutely no body wash or shampoo left in the dispensers in the shower. For that price point it was unacceptable. The club room was nice and I was impressed with the breakfast, especially the beautiful fresh blueberries, and strawberries that they served and the warm breakfast options. All in all after a very long international travel day, the room and beds were good, but I certainly hope that Sheraton will improve on the basics. In checking out, I made a point to speak with a front staff agent and explain how the room had no body wash or shampoo, and the room was not very clean. The front staff agent said he would reimburse me for the upgrade that I had paid for, but unfortunately, I have yet to see this refund."
