Nicholas Point Gem
Even though the listing is 10-15 mins out of Mildura in Nicholas Point it was great accomodation! The host had the wood stove going and waiting for us on arrival which was a nice start to our stay.

Great place to stay.
Very impressed, I had my 95 year old uncle with me and this was the only place that catered for a person with mobility issues, will hopefully be back again. One bathroom caters for people with disabilities.

Great place, but listing is not accurate
This house is excellently appointed. It’s clean. It has everything you need, and it was a very comfortable stay for a business trip that I had. There are two things that the owner needs to fix the first is the listing on Stayz is inaccurate and I know that a lot of people have said it in previous reviews so it really should be addressed. This property is not as it is listed in stayz on the map, it is 15 minutes outside of Mildura and it is in Nichols point. The address on Stayz is also inaccurate. This is no problem for me because I quite enjoy staying outside of town, but it would be if you were expecting it to be as it is listed on the Google map on the site so this needs to get fixed and also added to the description The second thing is there’s no Wi-Fi owner will say that we are all happy to use our own phones but unfortunately Vodaphone does not work and Optus was intermittent and my Telstra work phone - Fortunately, I had one was working but I’m now streaming three devices just to keep online to do my work and watch TV, it also means that you really can’t use Netflix so this should be something that the owner gets as it’s important. It is also not Riverfront. This is misleading as there is a road and house in front of you so you are not getting any river views from this house, so the Riverview feature that is selected on Stayz should be removed. I wouldn’t want to put you off staying here. It was a really great house and I hope to book it again.

Nice cottage in Mildura
Yerom Retreat was a nice place to stay. Comfortable, clean, warm, well-stocked, host very hospitable, quiet location near Kings Billabong. Nothing to do with the accommodation but disappointed with Telstra - the area has almost no reception! And this is in a major town like Mildura!

Nicholls Point stay
The property is perfect for two couples. Very quiet and peaceful area. Just needed a little more thought in a few areas like extra toilet paper per bathroom, paper towels in the kitchen, details about when to put the bins out. The shrubbery in the driveway entrance needs to be cut back to stop scratching the cars on entry. Other than that would recommend the property.

We had a very pleasant few days. Accommodation was great. Good beds, comfortable couches. Everything you need was there. Friendly neighbours and dogs. We would definitely stay again when next in Mildura.

Misleading Location / Obviously a Smokers House
Unfortunately from the start I was mislead by the location of the property on the Stayz website as it indicated that it is near the main areas of Mildura. While in the end the location was nice and the overall facilities of the property which suited our group dynamic were fine, it did not make up for the stench of cigarette smoke throughout the entire home (and I mean every single room) which greeted us upon our arrival and stayed no matter what we tried until we left. And it was obvious that the owner was aware of this problem as they had attempted to air the smell out by leaving every door open and every fan on in the house prior to our arrival which still failed miserably. As non smokers we found it extremely hard to be inside the house for any long periods of time and getting to sleep each night was very uncomfortable for all of us.

Sorry Amanda that youre stay was non memorable, Guests are not supposed to smoke inside but its to late once it has occurred we can only write a bad review which l did. When l have an out/in on the same day always leave fans on and doors open since the covid and hoped it would have dispersed before youre arrival, sorry agian. Do not know why we turned up in the cbd we have been operating their for 7 years. Know it doesnt make youre visit any happier Regards Ross Thank you for leaving the property so tidy and clean

Clean, bright the 2 bedrooms with own bathroom make it perfect for couples. Having a fire made it very cosy and the rooms were light & bright. We arrived to find lamps on and heater going which made it very welcoming. Big tick ✅

The house is in a nice suburban street about 10 minutes drive from Mildura Central. It is near the river but not river frontage. It is a comfortable well appointed house.

A marvelous spot!

Lovely property in great location
We had a great stay at Ross’s place. It was perfect for our stay in Mildura in a very quiet location at Kings Billabong which is around 6km from the Mildura cbd. We were having a look around the garden when Ross arrived with some freshly picked flowers for us… it was so nice to meet him after all our messaging to each other (we were worried about flooding which was happening at the time we visited). Short-story-long…. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here and the house is big enough for two couples to stay whilst exploring all that Mildura has to offer.

Perfect Accommodation
Lovely home, clean, excellent facilities. This house has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The hot water was perfect, beds comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was fabulous. It's a short walk to Kings Billabong and a fantastic forest walk. Ross had the fire blazing for our arrival and we really enjoyed our short stay.

Lovely place to stay, just a few maintenance issues that need addressing ie dripping taps, blown light globe, shower drain in one bedroom not effective. No WI-FI not a good thing. No instructions on what has to happen when you leave. Would stay again if WI-FI was available & shower drain was addressed.

Situated in a gorgeous street along the Billabong and only10 minutes drive to central Mildura. Ross was a lovely host-this will definitely be my go-to accommodation for future visits to Mildura

good little house, out of Mildura
the house was very clean, however, we really wanted to stay in Mildura and were disappointed that this was not clear when we booked. the house is 15 mins out of Mildura (expensive to get taxis in for dinner). the small heater was on when we arrived (cold night) and this was only just warm enough. water pressure in taps was fair. but beds were comfy, so all was OK

Great stay
This property is well presented, with everything you need and more. Host very welcoming, beds comfortable. It is out of town a bit further than I had at first thought but didn't present any issues. Great access to billabong and river walks, once I found out where they were and how to best access them!
