"When we came 8 years ago there were more amenities. We were a little disappointed to see that they no longer had the swim-up bar overlooking the water and you couldn't charge anything to your room. You always have to have your money with you. Lots of construction and changes happening. They should at least warn anyone trying to book. Overall, we still enjoyed our time there. Hard to have a bad time on Ambergris Caye. "

"Mangata was an amazing resort. It’s clean, small, quiet, fun and was everything we wanted. Outside of town, but with restaurants and bars nearby. The grounds are well kept, the bartenders, drinks and pizza were great. The owners, Justin and Jennifer, were amazing and extremely helpful when we had a small issue (nothing to do with the resort).
