“Wonderful Westin”
What a magnificent hotel. The rooms were divine - best bed I've ever slept in! One small downfall was they didn't seem to have enough staff in the Lobby Bar to keep up with the large number of guests - all wanting a drink in the bar because the weather outside was dismal. We did get our drink and a short wait wasn't the end of the world. I highly recommend this hotel.

Central location, great service & valet and helpful reception. Rooms were clean and generous size bathroom. Highly recommended
“City escape”
The wife and I decided to have a little getaway in the city of Melbourne and we chose the westin hotel. It's location is perfect right in the heart of the city, we had cafe's, restaurants and shops right at the door step, the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were terrific as we never were bothered by them and the staff in the lobby were a pleasure to deal with at check out.
“5 Star Hotel 2 star service”
Booked in for my wife and son into a Westin King Room and tired after a busy day and an early morning start we were inconvenienced by the room not being prepared in advance. Had to request an extra bed ( they actually asked did we want an extra bed !) at booking inand thereafter when it was clear they had forgotten to send one to our room. (plus towel, toiletries etc) Later on that evening when we just wanted to to have a relaxing "cuppa" there was not an additional cup & saucer for a 3rd person (and no milk either) , had to call again for this and of course we were beholden to them as to when we could have a restful "cuppa". For a 5 star experience this was very very disapponting. Also requested a late checkout (ie 12 noon) but were disturbed about an hour earlier by a call "reminding" us that we were late in checking out. Very nice place, quiet and convenient but this lack of attention meant our experience was not as we would have expected. PS also no feedback form in the room so Westin could take on board any comments nor instructions in the room as to how to call Reception. reception.
“excellent Hotel”
We (family of three) just stayed at the Westin Melbourne for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The hotel is great. On arrival they gave our seven year old a kids welcome pack! the staff were very friendly and the Concierge Service very useful. Would stay here again.

...wonderful layout of a room away from home...staff was excellent...could not have been nicer...as i mentioned, my luggage never arrived and the employees there showed concern and promised to update me if my luggage did show up...
“Superb Melbourne hotel”
I would highly recommend the Westin Hotel in Melbourne. The staff were fabulous, the room was excellent snd the hotel is in a very good position on the corner of Collin and Swanston Street. Allegros restaurant served excellent food and I certainly would stay there again once I am back in Melbourne. The hotel has an excellent pool and fitness room as well, The hotel is very conveniently situated to the tram lines as well as Flinders Street Railway Station. Certainly a hotel I can't wait to go back to.
