Open/interactive kitchen stations include a tandoori oven, wok, rotisserie, seafood ice blocks, teppanyaki, and floating desserts station. Lamps with funky shades, and a unique crystal wall of light behind the bar add an updated feel. Teas, coffees, and light meals served throughout the day. Afternoon tea with assorted finger sandwiches, warm scones with jam and cream, petit fours, and cakes also served daily. Evening menu includes champagnes, classic cocktails, and wines from the Yarra Valley. Live music featured Wednesdays–Saturdays.
Recreation

Pinned and free weights are also available, along with exercise balls in the stretching area. Pilates and yoga classes are offered daily.
A 20-metre pool and accompanying spa tub, which holds 20 people, are lit by a skylight that runs the length of the pool. The pool area opens out to a large sundeck that overlooks the Yarra River and city skyline.
Just a few hundred metres from the Yarra River, the Langham offers easy access to rowing and canoeing facilities, as well as bicycle-hire venues. A paved riverside path is popular for jogging, and the Royal Botanic Gardens, 1.5 km from the hotel, has a 3.7-km jogging/walking track known as the Tan. “the langhan”
The Langham Hotel is exceptional. fantastic service and elegant surrounds an absolute joy to stay at!!
“Great Hotel, Crap Room”
Beautiful hotel in a great location, BUT our room was very stuffy and smelled of smoke. Our special 'teddy bear' package river view room, was on a fairly low floor, with a poor view. Never ended up getting our teddy bear while we were there. Cigarette burn on the nightstand, non-working radio, non-working lamp. At these prices you just expect more. The room decor hasn't really changed in the past 17 years, but is still nice. Not sure if we got a crap room because we booked at a discount through Expedia or just luck of the draw.
“Cant wait to go back fantastic”
Had a delightful time at the service was fantastic, close to every thing. And found cheap weekend parking close by.
“The Langham Melbourne”
Over all satisfied until the TV in the room went wrong.
“Hotel made the trip”
This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The location was brilliant. If you find fault with this hotel then nothing would please you ! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Definately be coming back
“Disappointing...”
We stayed at the Langham on our wedding night - it ended up being a disappointing end to an amazing day. First the air conditioning was not functioning (set to the coolest temperature it was still too hot). Secondly, the toilet was making strange noises throughout the night. when complaining on checkout we were told that we should have called reception to have it sorted - I don't think you should have to deal with this at midnight when you check into a 5 star hotel on what is suppose to be the best night of your life. I suggest you stay somewhere else.
“Excellent stay”
Excellent stay.
“Very Nice Indeed”
THIS HOTEL IS DEFINITELY WORTH A VISIT. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND SURROUNDINGS FIRST CLASS. ALSO HANDY TO DINING OUT VENUES AND THE CITY
“Great view of Yarra River”
Nice hotel, view of Yarra river and South Bank surrounds. Tasty, but expensive, breakfast cafe.
