“Great customer service”
The staff at Bayview Eden are very friendly and helpful, they look like they like working there. Nothing was too much trouble.
“Good old hotel”
Room is big and comfortable. But its infrastructure needs totally renovated.
“Perfect location for our needs”
This was our second time to Bayview Eden, that tells the story a second stay because the first was a good one.Staff super friendly, room was better than an average hotel room, breakfast was better than some other hotels and the bar next to the foyer was ideal for pre or post dinner drinks. Easy location for access to any attractions in Melbourne,St Kilda,CBD,Crown.
“Welk priced and comfortable”
My wife 9 yo old son and I stayed at the hotel for a weeks holiday in Melbourne. I choose the hotel as it looked good and offered free parking, important as we had a hire car for the week. The hotel is conveniently situated in St Kilda and was a good base for us to explore the CBD as well drive further afield. The car park is very tight, but hey it was free, the hire car didn't get damaged which was the main thing. I guess the key thing is that I would book there again if we were looking at staying in Melbourne.
“Satisfactory”
Stayed two nights while in melbourne for the Moto Gp , the rooms were freshly decorated (pink ??) and in good condition , the bed is very comfortable but im not sure how they expected an adult an two teenage sons to sleep in 1 queen size bed ! as the room was booked for 3 ! was annoyed when was charged an extra $90 for each foldout bed which made the price more expensive than a city hotel. Dont rely on finding meals in the area as there isnt anywhere closer than a 30 min walk , we took the tram into city to eat as the hotel meals were over priced , we will pay extra to stay in the city next time....
“could have been better.”
TV did not work and required the lobby man to come back repeatedly and finally hooked up the power via an extension cord. the whole thing should have been checked and working beforehand. The age, style and overall condition is quite dated.... but I guess you ''get what you pay for"....
“Great location”
The Bayview Eden overlooks Albert Park and is close to the junction of St Kilda Rd and Kings Way so while being convenient to the city it is still in a quiet location. We had a queen room and the rate included a full buffet breakfast which had a wide variety. Our room was quiet and clean and well appointed apart from a missing light globe in one of the bed reading lights. The only drawback for us, and it is a personal thing, is that the bed only had a doonah and blankets were not available. For a hotel of with this rating we think there should be at least one blanket. That aside we would stay at the bayview again because of the location and free car parking.
“Bayview Eden Hotel we would go back and stay.”
We were treated very well at this Hotel would go back.
“Great service and very impressed!!”
Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. Location of hotel was $18 taxi ride from hotel to Caulfield racecourse and $10 taxi from hotel to casino. Roomservice was prompt and meals were well presented with very generous breakfast portions. Check out was 12 midday not the usual 10am or 11am. Would definitely stay there again.
“Very comfortable”
We spent the weekend in this hotel whilst in Melbourne for a wedding. It was very convenient to public transport, and the hotel had a car to meet us at the airport which was very reasonably priced. There are convenience shops close by and not to far from the city on the tram for eating out. Tickets can be bought at the 7 Eleven store which is open 24hrs.
