Where to start.. I visited Ritz Carlton Melbourne to surprise my girlfriend as a token of my appreciation for her. The Ritz Carlton did not disappoint, the service from the staff - room service; 10/10 communication skills, speed of delivery. Very relaxing and very luxury. Very Wow’d.. definitely take your special person here to experience this environment. Definitely coming back as a regular ! I’m still dreaming

The height of the hotel lobby and rooms is fantastic. Great views, even from the north facing rooms although you do look over an apartment block. The panoramic view rooms over the bay would be spectacular. Room was big and quite nice. Bed was good. Lobby is lovely as is the lobby bar. Didn't use the pool or gym so can't comment on this. Breakfast was a disappointment - food quality was good but I do prefer a buffet breakfast over a limited el la carte menu.

Stunning luxury hotel
We recently spent 3 nights at the Ritz Carlton in Melbourne for my husband’s birthday. The hotel is modern and luxurious, rooms spacious and very clean. The lobby located on the 80th floor has incredible views over the city, as did our room on the 66th floor. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were well equipped with ammenities. Pool was stunning, however a little cold for a leisurely swim. We arrived just after 12pm, however our room wasn’t available for another 2.5 hours. I was a little disappointed that nothing special was organised for my husband’s birthday (mentioned in booking notes and upon check-in) considering we have stayed at far cheaper hotels who have provided a complimentary bottle of champagne or plate of chocolates for a special occasion such as this. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, service was excellent and rooms were stunning. We hope to return one day in the future.

We celebrated Christmas there. We were given an upgrade to an Executive Suite which was amazing. The view day/night incredible, food and beverages went on all day. Staff incredibly polite and helpful. Will definitely stay there again even without an upgrade.

Missing hair-dryer from room (took calls/requests to resolve. TV did not work properly then not at all. Garment service arrived later (too late) than advised. Disappointing given the room type/rate however Club Manager and Club staff were great. General room quality and view was also great.

The Ritz-Carlton was exactly what I wanted and needed. Five stars indeed, and highly recommended. The service was impeccable. The attention to detail in every matter (comforting aromas that weren't toxic, the beds pillows and linen, the choices of cutlery, the toiletries, etc) was wonderful. Even the carpet was pure delight under my bare feet! My room was both cozy and spacious. Atria! The "buffet" breakfast was outstanding; the quality of produce was exquisite, and the hearty croissants were a Dream. This place is worth a visit for any dining experience. The staff, in every interaction were just delightful. Sure it is Their job - but there was a sincerity in service that was greatly refreshing and soothing. One particular hostess went on a journey to try and find out about a lovely piece in the bathroom I stayed in and was to get back to Me - Oh, She did! The only thing that surprised Me was that the tea selection in the room was not quite to the standard of the rest of the offerings in the room. And, the lovely snack drawer was low in stock on my arrival; I was looking forward to a nice biscuit with a cup of tea after a long travel over. Truly, if You want quality service on all levels, with a safe haven to stay, or just stay in at - this place delivers on All levels. I look forward to returning. The Cameo Bar - a stunning, seductive space, perfect for a quiet night cap, or a relaxed moment amongst stunning views.

Beautiful place but poorly managed
The hotel is 6 months old, and being a Ritz has amazing facilities. But it seems very poorly managed and the staff but trained properly. Maybe 40% of the staff was Ritz-grade amazing, but another 40% was rude and didn't seem to have a clue what they were doing. For example - the hotel said it was selling its robes. We loved them and decided to vacation splurge, so asked to buy 2. The staff delivered 2 USED robes to our room, covered with brown stains and ripped up. Then asked $330 AUD per robe for that The staff bringing the robes was also very rude. He rang the doorbell twice, every 5-6 seconds. I rushed over immediately and yelled I was coming, but he still rang 4'ish times before I could get there. The. He just shoved the robes in my hands and left. The same staff also came by earlier to bring coffee refills we'd requested. This time also, he just rudely shoved 4-5 coffee capsules in my hands at the door, and left. We ordered a salmon bagel for breakfast in-room dining. Then somehow forgot the salmon -- brought only a bagel, and wanted $23 for it. The hotel is also a bit broken down despite only being 6 months old. In the spa, the shower head was broken and spraying out of the hose. When I tried to adjust the fixture on the wall holding the shower head hose, it just snapped apart and fell down. The sink plug in the room broke and fell apart Overall, not Ritz quality and not what you pay for.

Gorgeous 5 star luxury! We had a great break for a girls trip away. The staff were attentive and the amenities were stunning, everything you’d expect from a Ritz. Loved the pool and loved the sauna, if you are on the fence about staying here just book it! You won’t regret it.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent room. So far so good but the only issue I have is that the TV in the room doesn't work on the second day. The staff are friendly and helpful. One staff member by the name of Asmith (not sure if I spelled it correctly) was very helpful. He helped us with the TV issue in the room. He was professional and polite. Great hotel and I enjoyed myself especially for the excellent safety that we can get. Highly recommended!

A new hotel with well developed and classic Ritz Carlton service and warmth! I stayed in the club level which meant I had access to different food throughout the day (as well as drinks all day). The Club level team, the doormen, the concierge, the front of house team, the spa team, the Atria team were all an absolute delight to be around. The food at Atria was divine, my hot stone massage was heaven (Isabella), the welcoming mojitos and chats with the club team were delightful. The room was perfect, the bed heavenly, the bathroom/shower/separate WC and accessories (Diptyque) were all pretty perfect too.

The most amazing stay we have had in melbourne and yes have stayed at all W , crown towers, langham and others. Want to thank Charles, silvio at the reception they were awesome. Also want to thank georgina at atria restaurant for looking after us . Lovely place nice views of the harbour if u can strech a little get the harbour view room its worth every cent
