“Gorgeous Riad”

Rias pachavana is an oasis of calm in a crazily busy city. Michelle who manages the riad can give you directions and recommend great places for dinner. The surrounding area is busy and you will get a cab then be walked down a couple of windy streets to get to the riad. The hammam spa treatments are great and you will be provided will all refreshments plus a great breakfast which you can eat on the sun terrace. I would recommend to anyone going to marrakesh, most staff are French so a basic grasp of the language is helpful

“Outstanding service”

Like many other reviewers I cannot praise the service at Riad Pachavana enough. Our flight was delayed and we arrived very late but Antonio arranged for Hassan, the driver to take us to the new town for something to eat! Antonio, the owner, was ever helpful and friendly, all his staff were great. In spite of the slightly oiut of way location, it was well worth staying there. The Riad is beautiful with a lovely courtyard and alcoves just to hang out in.

“What a gorgeous place...”

We were met at the Airport by the Riad's driver and from there on in everything about the Riad was perfect. The accommodation was beautiful, authentic, peaceful, welcoming and extremely personal. We could not have wished for a better experience. Antonio - the proprietor, was a gentleman. He gave us his personal attention from the beginning and could not have been better.

“Great place”

Just got back from staying at the Riad Pachavana- the pics are accurate, the staff very friendly, the owner Antonio is very very helpful and accommodating. Its clean, relaxing and authentic! We would not hesitate to recommend this place. The breakfasts were amazing too! The location is fine and a short walk to the main square (Jemma el fna) and the souks are even closer. As with everywhere in Marrakech old town, make sure you know where you're going and how to get back!

“Where nothing is too much trouble”

I can't praise the service provided by Riad Pachavana highly enough. From the moment we arrived to well beyond the time we checked out the staff went far beyond the service levels one could hope to expect. We never felt rushed, we were provided with any guidance we needed and the place is beautiful. I have stayed in some wonderful five star hotels all over the world but would have no hesitation in comparing the service and level of attentiveness provided here with any of them. They are obviously well used to having guests and are able to provide useful and realistic advice about getting around the city. I can think of nowhere better to stay during your time in Marrakech. Thank you for making it such wonderful stay.

“Riad Pashavana”

Wonderful hotel. A oasis of calm umungst mayhem just outside the door. The Raid owner is extreemly helpful and will help you find your way around. Not only did he provide us with a detailed map, he also gave us a mobile phone so we could call him if we were in trouble/lost. He orgainsed a trip to the Atlas mountains for us which we enjoyed and was very reasonably priced. We ate at the Riad every night as the food was amazing and a good price, so we felt no need to go out. To be honest I would have found the streets outside the Raid very intimidating after dark. I would not hesitate to recommed this Raid. We made a bit of a mistake by not using the Raid airport transport and picked up a taxi from the airport. As the Riad is just within the high walled Medina area he pointed in the direction to go and left us. Two teenagers followed us and told us they would show us the way. As we were lost we followed them and they took us on a km long loop when the Raid was only 200 meters away from the main road. This was very intimdating as it was getting dark, so for your safety and piece of mind, pay he extra for the Raid transport. Please on your return can I ask you to think of the animals of Marakesh and make a donation to a Morrocan animal charity.

“A little palace in Marrakech”

We decided to go to Marrakech to get a bit of warmth before Christmas, I chose Riad Pachavana as we like to stay in places with character rather than soulless hotels and the photos of it looked stunning. We had a bit of trouble finding it as the map we printed of google was inaccurate and we had taken the bus to be avoided being ripped off by taxis. When we arrived we were not disappointed at all it is the most stunning place all the rooms are gorgeous and the staff we lovely and so attentive, maybe even a little bit too much as when we returned from a day out they had lit a fire in our room to stop it getting chilly but unfortunately the chimney was rubbish and just filled the room with smoke, when they realised they rushed to put it out and air the room for us. The Riad is about a 10-15min walk from the main square and it is a lovely walk through the Souks, but you will need the map Natalie provides as it is a bit of a maze. Overall we thought Marrakech was great, particularly for Christmas shopping but the highlight has to be Riad Pachavana, such a beautiful place we could have just spent days there.

“great holiday venue - oasis in the Medina - very well situated.”

Fabulous oasis amidst the chaos, noise and hurly burly that is life inside the Medina. An excellent host - knowledgable, friendly and very personable. Attentive staffand excellent breakfasts, evening meal and airport transfers.
