    Come and enjoy this freshly renovated, well equipped holiday house right on the waters edge at Mannering Park. Sheltered in a quiet bay just 200 metres from the boat ramp, you can launch your boat or jetski and park it at our jetty just metres from the back door. Enjoy a quiet drink under the stars by the crackling firepit overlooking the lake. Ideal for 4 couples or 2 families looking for a quick getaway just 60 minutes from the start of the freeway at Wahroonga.

    King Bedroom: has an en-suite with a large shower and a separate bathtub, walk in wardrobe, air-conditioning and balcony with lake front views.

    Queen Bedroom (Upstairs): has a sofa, air-conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities, built in wardrobe. It is serviced by an adjacent bathroom and separate toilet.

    Queen Bedrooms (Downstairs): built in wardrobes, both rooms share a bathroom opposite with a separate toilet.

    Upstairs Living Room: double sofa bed, Single Day Bed, air-conditioning, TV with PlayStation & DVD player, fully opening bi-fold doors onto a balcony with lake front views, bean bags & board games.

    Downstairs Living & Dining Room: large, square 8 seater dining table (can seat 10 with 2 extra chairs), Air-conditioning, Pool Table, TV with Foxtel & Netflix.

    Outdoors: 25m private jetty, flexible outdoor dining table (can be set up as one large table, or two smaller ones). Fire pit with a long bench seat. Fish from the jetty (bring your own gear). Launch your boat or jet ski at the boat ramp located just 200m down the end of the street and park at the jetty by the back door.

    Kitchen & Laundry: There is a dishwasher, induction stove top, oven, large microwave, coffee pod machine, fully equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, foil, gladwrap, condiments etc. There is a washing machine in the laundry.

    Garage & extras: double garage has a ping pong table, clothes line, fridge (2) & life jackets. There is also Cricket, Boccee, Badmington, Volleyball, Totem Tennis & Magnetic Dart Board. There is also plenty of off street parking.

    We are environmentally conscious hosts and have had a large solar power system installed and have a recycled water system.

    Please note that we do not allow parties, weddings, schoolies, bucks or hens functions. Pets are not permitted at Sand so please don't ask.

    Amazing Stay
    Stayed for the Australia Day long weekend. A group of 11 people, lots of room for us all. Plenty of activities to do. The house is gorgeous and as pictured. We had such an amazing time! Hope to be back one day. Stephen was great at communicating, any questions/queries that i had were promptly answered. Once again, thanks so much for having us 🤗

    Beautiful Location - Spacious Accommodation
    A great 10 days at the Sand Lake House. Even on two days of rain the lake location was beautiful, and peaceful. Lots of room for the 9 of us, plenty to do - use of the kayaks, paddle boards, pool table, table tennis - internet and cable TV - a home away from home, but on Lake Macquarie. Plenty to do nearby - recommend Lake Mac WaterSports for boat hire. Friendly local shops 1km away provide most day to day needs - bread, milk, paper, bottle-shop, groceries....etc Generous sized and comfortable living, eating and sleeping areas - heaps of room over 2 levels. Host Steven was easily accessible when needed for local advice. I have had an association with Lake Macquarie for many many years, and Sand Lake House presents all of the benefits and beauty of Lake Mac - highly recommended.

    Lovely
    The house is really lovely, lots of space, we had 8 adults & were very comfortable. Plenty of seating & big lounges. Plenty of plates, cutlery, cooking essentials & is great to have some of the basics provided as well. We loved visits from the local ducks, they didn’t like the lettuce as suggested but absolutely loved the peas!! Unfortunately it did rain for a few days of our stay, but having the pool table was a bonus! Our only suggestion would be to add a dryer into the house, as this would have helped getting towels dried, we did used the line provided in the garage but nothing was drying due to it being so wet. Stephens communication was great. Overall, it’s a really lovely house & the view is amazing, definitely worth a visit.

    Fabulous Short Stay
    The property presented as listed, down to the fairy lights outside. The bedroom configuration and general layout suited 9 adults and 2 children perfectly. Enough room to be together and enough space to have some time to yourself. The garden was roomy for playing games and the jetty was a great fishing spot. The kitchen was also well equipped with enough glasses, crockery, cutlery and serving dishes. A bonus was the easy walking along the foreshore to go exploring. Overall, a fabulous house and location!

    Fantastic property
    Stephen was very accommodating and easy to contact. The property has everything needed for a little getaway. Jetty in the backyard and the firepit were highlights, the pool table was a bonus. Ample space and beds. Would recommend this place :)

    Our trip was so memorable, the location is so convenient for shopping. The house is very kids friendly we had marshmallows on the fire pit. Very spacious living areas as well. The only one thing I would recommend is it would be nice if we have dryers as the 4 days we at the house it was raining and even if we hang our clothes it would not dry up. Other than that, Stephen has been so accommodating and helpful. Will definitely recommend to family and friends as 4 to 5 star rating 🙌 Thank you Stephen for allowing us to create beautiful memories in this lovely home 🙏

    Absolutely fabulous!
    The location of the property is just beautiful, with the water’s edge just a few metres from the back deck. Peaceful, tranquil, calming… Inside was also fabulous, with bedrooms and bathrooms galore - the upstairs master suite is amazing! Everything was very clean and beautifully presented. The host, Stephen, is extremely professional and easy to contact. We will definitely be back!

    I think that the bathroom listing should just say 3 bathrooms with two separate toilets and not 5 bathrooms - 3 bathrooms -2 half bathrooms which I interpreted to be 2 ensuites and not 2 toilets which was the reality.
