Nice location, very walkable to shopping and many dining options. There was no hot water so taking a shower was not pleasant. This is the only complaint.

The location is excellent for it’s close and walking distance to most point of interest. The entire staff from the entrance to the entire building is courteous and has an exceptional customer service. The breakfast buffet is very good too.

The breakfast and employees were the best thing about this hotel. Made my stay wonderful! I also stayed at the Hyatt and the difference of the property condition was night and day. My stay at Seda was still memorable.

Seda BGC is the best place to stay at due to its proximity to restaurants and stores for tourists. The staff are professional and accommodating. The place is clean as well as the rooms and the restaurant. I will definitely go back to stay at our next visit to the Philippines.

The property is in a beautiful area next to a scenic street with a bunch of restaurants and stores. I felt very safe and felt that I was in the hub of Manila. Also, the room had a kitchen, dining room table, living room, and washer/dryer which was unexpected and very much appreciated!

I have a beautiful view from my window, good selection of breakfast and staff are very helpful, even the security guard with the dog helped us with directions and getting us a taxi. I will come back again in the future.

Great hotel, let down with the cleanliness, house keeping need to step up with the cleaning, room is big enough for 2 people, great location and awesome staff! One of the best hotels I've stayed in BGC. Definitely staying here again. Thank you to all the staff!

i did not like the way their bathroom & shower is made. no hook to hold towels, faucet is too short to get to the sink. shower area is scary when wet coz it’s slippery. floor gets wet coz no shower curtain

On Dec 2, 2023, I fell and hurt both my knees due to the unsafe mini stage where the Christmas display was placed. It was immediately changed after my accident when they realized that there was a safety concern. The nurse immediately applied first aid treatment and with the pain med that she gave me I was able to attend our HS Golden Jubilee Reunion that day ( reason why I went home for 2 weeks ) With the help of pain med and careful movements, I was able to do some activities but it came to a point where the pain was getting worse. That was when I requested an X Ray. The Seda Hotel doctor , Dr Young Chang, refused and stated that it was normal part of healing , and that it would go away in time. I got upset because in the first place, I had sustained injuries for unsafe reason and to take my pain lightly was just unacceptable. When he saw how upset I was, he stated “ OK, I will pay for your X Ray”. It was hard to believe that Seda Hotel is owned by the Ayalas but looks like it has no good medical plan for guests who have sustained an injury at their facility. Anyway, after some convincing, I was brought to St Luke’s but this is what I can only advise to those Balikbayan who are planning to stay there ; Just be careful of your Safety there. Please give it a careful thought bec no matter how good the service and the staff are, when it comes to rendering costly med procedures, they would think twice about it.

Due to inclement weather, we were unable to check-in during our first night as scheduled. Rather than tag us as a no-show, after we contacted Seda, our booking remained secure and we were able to check-in an hour or so after arriving in the Philippines. BGC has always been a great, safe place with many shopping, dining, etc. options so the location where Seda is was perfect for us. It was walking distance to the Market! Market! mall, High Street, St. Lukes BGC, and many more. The staff warmly welcomed us and ensured that we were taken care of. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Obvious that the property is older. There was a strong old, musty, moldy smell in our floor corridors that persisted through the whole 5 days of our stay. The A/C in room did not work the first night. We had to request for a transfer to another room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, specially the dining staff. Manager Randy and server Ting were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast buffet was OUTSTANDING. Different choices everyday. Loved the kakanin options. Easy transport access thru GRAB, which the concierge gladly provided for us each day. In summary, other than the aging facilities, the staff were top notch. And that's what counts for me.

Exec Club lounge Experience.
My review is based solely on the Club Lounge Room (and lounge itself) experience, as that is why I paid extra for the use of this facility. The hotels location is very well placed on the Bonificio high street. The room itself that In was allocated was on the 15th floor and a normal room which was OK but did not have a working desk, it was a small round sit up dining table. The lounge was poor in my opinion and I felt the hotel was playing at this rather than taking it serious. The food selection was small, hot food choices were cold and poor. The lounge was small and the staff just not quite working at the level for an executive lounge experience. Example here is that I was struggling opening the entrance door with cases and no one assisted from behind the desk, even thought they saw me, also poor service when asking for coffee etc just the worst experience of all the exec lounge experiences in Manila and Asia that I have experienced. If you stay in a non long room, then I guess the hotel will be fine for the price. Main restaurant which I went to once for breakfast, was over crowded, the walk ways by the buffet small and constant moving around people to get out the way and back too your table. So would I stay here again? The answer is simply no.
