Read my other reviews. They don't provide 4 or 5 star service. I had a bad experience about a year ago and I avoided staying there. I am typing this from another hotel. I am avoiding MP.

This hotel is overall nice. But they still have issues with the staff. Restaurant service quite poor for a 4 star hotel. My wife and I were seated at breakfast. They asked our drink order. Water and latte. After we went to get our food at the buffet nothing had been served. They had put empty glasses on our table. The water was 20 feet away. You would think that at an upscale restaurant, they would make it a priority to serve water to the patrons. And they didn't know how to make a latte. They drinks came luke warm. I asked the manager. They made two new lattes. One was hot. The other luke warm again. Not good for a high end hotel. Also at break time, all the sofas for the guests at the lounge/check in were occuppied by employees texting on break, for maybe 30 minutes. Is there no break area for employees. I have never seen in a hotel, and a highly rated one at that, the employees on break occupying the check in area and relaxing on their phones. Also, as with the bad service, the bar upstairs, I ordered wine and accompanying water. The waiters forgot the water two times. I had to walk to the bar and ask the bartender for water. Turns out there was no bottled water at the bar, and they had to go get it somewhere else. When the waiter came back he had an attitude. I had to ask for water 3 times. Marco Polo should improve their staff training.

This is a great hotel in a good area. Walking distance to great shopping. Staff is exceptional. Pool on the 22nd floor is very nice and relaxing. It is worth getting a hotel like this further from the airport.

I consider Marco Polo my home whenever i visit. I can count on their consistent service and cleanliness. This time around i was disappointed in many areas. First there was no recognition this time of me coming back. Seems they have lost my stay history or something cause it took them awhile to find my number. 2nd morning of my stay we were woken up at 830 with banging and drilling without advance notice. We had to request to replenish toiletries. Bed linens were not changed for 4 nights we were there at least once. Shower drain was clogged and so we took a shower in tub then that became slow draining too. I love Marco Polo and plan to still stay there in the future. I hope they get their act together.

The property was okay, but it did not feel like a 5-star hotel experience. The luggage deck was not clean when I walked in. The toiletries, particularly the shower gel, seemed diluted. I'm not sure if this property supports sustainability, but when I asked for water refill, the front desk person said they could give more bottled water (single-use plastics). They didn't have water refilling station. So I then asked if I could get a glass pitcher. I was served with a stainless pitcher, the one used in restaurants by servers, not glass pitchers that we now often see in a lot of hotels. This was a disappointment for a "5-star" hotel. Also, the buffet breakfast was a major letdown. Most of what I had tasted bland and uninspired. The sushis looked like those display, plastic models you see in restaurant fronts - dry, unappetizing, almost inedible. Nobody was touching them when I was there. Coffee tasted like they were brewed from a machine that hasn't been cleaned in a month. The supposedly "fresh" breads (sourdoughs) looked styrofoam-dry. I left Cucina after just 15minutes, and did not avail of their free breakfast the next day. It's that disappointing. Finally, most of the staff I encountered lacked warmth and enthusiasm. There were probably only 2 staff members who smiled and greeted me during my entire stay. The rest seemed unhappy in their job. I just chalk it up to bad timing since it's New Year's Day and the day after. But hospitality should have no bad timing.

Hotel is very clean, has friendly staff, nice decor, great breakfast buffet, BUT overall it seems over rated with few comfortable areas to lounge besides lobby. Not even my upgraded room was very comfortable with no good seating.There are many quirky rules and restrictions everywhere. Even my welcome letter was a contradiction. Without listing everything, the hotel has a sterile, corporate feel. Like a modern Starbucks. Too many small complaint to list but they add up. For the money, I wont be back.

A quality 5-star hotel
Good location and near to eatery and Ayala mall. Try to stay in rooms away from the road and away from MetroWalk as it is very noisy and there can be loud music if you are a light sleeper. Overall rooms are clean , breakfast spread is sumptuous, rooms are clean, toilet are stuffed with Amenities and bed is comfy (pillow too soft though). And the hotel even features a rooftop bar which has an outdoor area for a bird’s eye view of the city!

A great hotel and location for Ortigas, excellent staff and facilities at the Club Lounge. There are a couple of things that downgrades them from a 5-star establishment in my opinion. Reception staff does not know the products and services of the hotel (i.e. not knowing what is included in the club facilities thus being overcharged), unfortunately, this was not the first time - so check your final bill. And guest laundry service was delivered requesting cash payment as that was how it was recorded in the system, which is weird, so what would have happened if I was not in the room (they would not have left the items !!). While both issues were resolved quickly, it is embarrassing for all parties to be in the conversation.

Very attentive staffs. We host 2 days workshop the staff was very helpful even remind to pack for left over foods for guest to bring home. Hotel was fairly new & clean definitely!
