“Center of Madrid Hotel”

This hotel is in the center of Madrid......right at the Plaza Del Sol......could not ask for a better location. Room was very large by European standards, large closets. Starbucks next door and plenty of dinning options, Chinese next door, tapas or Moroccan. Great hotel and service. Will stay again!!

“Fantastic Hotel”

The hotel’s best feature is its location. It was 100 meters or so from Puerto Del Sol, which is one of Madrid's busiest areas, full of stores and restaurants. The Sevilla subway station is right outside the hotel doors, which was extremely convenient. The hotel's receptionists and front desk were extremely helpful; they helped me with my phone and provided change when I needed it. The wireless internet was fast and continuous and I could do my work with great ease. The hotel was spotless and very comfortable. If you are looking for an affordable, comfortable and perfectly located hotel, I would give Regina my highest recommendation! It really is amazing value for your money.

“4-star service at 3-star price”

Unbelievable personal service from the moment i arrived. All of my requests met within a few minutes of calling front desk. The price of the room was below many hotels in Madrid, but the attention to detail was lovely, including welcome basket with champagne and welcome drink at front desk also. Breakfast was very good, and choice of complete buffet or quick "cafeteria", both at fair prices.

Area recommendations

Toledo is worth a quick train trip on the Avant luxury train from Atoche station in 30 minutes. U can do it in a half day if u want. Gran Via is beautiful to walk down and close to hotel.

“Regina, Madrid Spain”

We were inadverently checked into a regular room. Manager called and corrected the error. The regular room was nice and we could have easily stayed in it. The superior room was great. The only negative we had was that we had a street side room and the outside noise on Saturday night was loud and caused a restless night. But, all other nights were fine.

“VERY NICE HOTEL...LOVE IT!”

If you are in Madrid for vacation and you want to be close from everywhere, this is the place... Is located one block from Puerta del Sol, nice cafes around the area as well restaurants. Very professional staff that like to take care of your questions or problems, actually they give us a good rate to change dollars to Euros...The hotel provide you with a map (like Disneyworld) and you can organize your routes. Definatelly this is more than a 3 star hotel!

Take the Madrid tourist bus and you will chose many places base on what you like... For night disco go to GABANA music house...

“Will always stay here!”

Just returned from a week in Madrid at the Hotel Regina. It was one of the most wonderful experiences we've had. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, and the location is unbeatable - just steps from the Puerta del Sol, but far enough away to avoid the noise. There's no coffee in the room, but the downstairs bar is a great place for a cup and a croissant, which we did every day. All in all, it was a great experience.

Can't beat the Puerta del Sol area - it's close to everything (within walking distance).

“Perfecto!”

This hotel is great. It has everything you need in one package. Location, service, hygiene, and food. When you are tired from being a tourist, you can get rest, great food, and comfort and never leave the building. Perfect.

“Good location. Excellent service.”

The facilities of the hotel are very nice and it is located right in the middle of Madrid with a Metro terminal in front of the hotel. Although the room we had need to be renovated, the service was excellent as well as the restaurant.

Area recommendations

Try the hotel's restaurant Amayra; very good food and delicious breakfast. The only things that you will need to go around Madrid are a Metro ticket, walking shoes and a good appetite, but do not forget that many restaurants close between 4:30 and 8:30 pm. For the best "chocolate con churros" visit the Café San Ginés in the Old Madrid area.

“Close to Madrid central”

Hotel in convenient position, within walking distance to Plaza Mayor and Metro stop just outside. We didn't have the breakfast option, however, there are many restaurants in the vicinity. Room size adequate. Constant loud door slamming at all hours was annoying. Main tourist information centre in Plaza Mayor- buy tourist card for approx 5 euro for unlimited Metro and bus travel for zone one. Well worth going out of the city to visit Toledo- go by bus, check info at Tourist info centre.
