“One of the best locations in Madrid”

We rented two rooms for four nights. Our experience right from check in to check out was excellent. Hotel customer experience specialist Miriam spent lot of time explaining the amenities of the hotel, features of the room, places to visit, restaurants to eat etc. There is a Tapas place right next to the hotel called Lateral, which is excellent. We found the breakfast in the hotel to be expensive and found several good pastry shops and cafes very close to the hotel where you can have breakfast at a very reasonable price. We will definitely stay at ME Madrid during our next visit to Madrid. We also want to thank Expedia for upgrading one of our rooms.

“Comfort, convenience, and chic in Old Madrid”

This hotel is located on Plaza Santa Ana, a very convenient location within walking distance of Puerta del Sol, a transportation hub. There are tons of bars and restaurants nearby and the view from the rooftop lounge is beautiful. I would have liked more soundproofing between our room and the suite next door, as the guests there watched a soccer game (loudly) on Sunday morning. The staff was vey helpful and fluent in English.

Area recommendations
Old Madrid is full of history, culture, art and beautiful architecture. The multitude of outdoor cafes near Puerta del Sol keeps the atmosphere vibrant.
What to pack
Good walking shoes. Those cobblestone streets are not made for stilettos!

“Fantastic Hotel - would definitely stay here again.”

Our room overlooked the square which can be a bit noisy, and the restuarants work late into the night. So if you want it to be quieter ask for a room not facing the square. It didn't bother us that much because we were into the atmosphere and fun as it was our first time in Madrid. All the staff are fantastic and helpful.

Area recommendations
This hotel was very well located, right in the centre of the City, walking distance to all the major places you would want to visit. Museums, Galleries, shopping, restaurants and Bars.
When to go
Late August/ Sept is perfect as you will miss the hot summer.
Getting around
Taxis are easy to get if you want them, but walking is the go.
Shopping
Plenty of shopping all around the Hotel.
Dining
Just walk out the door, Tapas and Bars a plenty.

“Great Hotel!”

Superb location. walking distance to most tourist attractions, tapas bars, shopping, etc. Hotel staff were attentive and courteous. Bedsheets were changed daily. Facilities are well maintained. Recommendations to hotel staff: Hotel staff were dressed too casually - only thing that ID's them as staff member is a lapel pin. An employee name tag with hotel name/Logo would be appropriate and would make them easily identifiable. Coffee/tea bar in the room or Coffee machine in the hotel lobby would be a great convenience when leaving early in the morning.

“Great location and service.”

Within walking distance to many areas in the heart of Madrid. Accesible Metro and Train stations nearby. Service oriented staff. Very clean. I will strongly recommended.

“Best hotel with best food.”

Me Madrid hotel was perfection. I love the super clean room with good quality bedding and Aveda bathroom amenities. Food in the restaurant was excellent. I wish I ate more in the hotel than outside restaurants. The location was also very good, walking distance to everything. I can't wait to come back to Madrid and stay at Me Madrid!

“ME Madrid”

Highly recommend for active travelers hoping to enjoy a very lively city. Service was terrific, room met expectations and location was central to many Madrid landmarks. If you're visiting Madrid but for some reason hoping to get to sleep early the ME might not be the place for you. Sounds from the lively square which is just beneath the hotel can be heard in the room well into the early morning hours.

“PERFECTION IN EVERY WAY”

I can't wait to go back. My boyfriend and I were very impressed with their quality in all areas. High level of service, friendliness, state of the art modern in everything, value, location, comfort, restaurants ( awesome breakfast we indulged in everyday) and the best dinner in my life. I regret having dinner only once after I found out how fabulous it was. The views were spectacular from the bar in the penthouse. We are seasoned travelers and it takes a lot to impress us. This hotel surpassed our expectations. It made leaving to visit Barcelona very difficult indeed. We will return in a few months. We have our home in Madrid in ME Madrid!

Area recommendations
Using the guide books is a good start. If time is short use the top 10 recommendations. If leisurely just walk to the recommended sights. There is so much more to see on foot.

“overpriced, poor service, unhelpful staff, overcharged at each opportunity to do so”

music in lobby was loud and awful, staff at desk were ignorant and nonresponsive, overcharged at every opportunity to do so, no place to leave valuables at desk while awaiting check into room or when checking out of room ( before going to airport later that day)

“Great weekend in Madrid”

Great weekend in Madrid. The hotel is located in the center of the city. Great service. Good restaurant and bar, Very hip and chic. The room (I reserved a level room) was small but comfortable, clean and nice. The hotel is great for people in their 30's. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
