“Very good if you are flying out of Barajas airport”
The hotel is very modern and clean. Beds are very comfortable, all linen and towels are perfectly clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. Be aware, however, that the hotel is fairly far from the airport. It is about 25 minutes by shuttle without traffic. The shuttle service is free and reliable and runs on the hour to the airport and on the half-hour from the airport 24 hours a day (you have to reserve it by calling the hotel or speaking to the front desk). Overall, a very good hotel choice for those who are flying out of Barajas airport.
“Served the Purpose”
We needed a place to stay in Madrid en route to Marseille. We came in by train and had to take another train to the airport to get to the hotel but it worked. You need to call early to make a reservation to get on the shuttle to the hotel.

the location is bad. This hotel is at least 25min from the airport and very far from the city. The shuttle to the airport lives every hour and you have to call ahead in order to use it. However the hotel is new. very clean and modern. comfy room and friendly stuff. I used it for over night and was very happy with the value

Very convienent if you have an early morning flight, and the hotel is great value for money.
“Near the airport”
The hotel is near the airport, which is what we were looking for. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel service was great. The shuttle to and from the airport was very reliable. Since it is by the airport, then it isn't near the city center, but Madrid and the surrounding area has great public transportation so the center can be easily reached.
“Great Service at the Avant Torrejon”
The rooms were immaculate and the staff were extremely helpful. The airport shuttle driver actually led us to the airport (we followed in our rental), dropped us off at the on-site gas station, waited dor us to fuel up, we then returned our rental and met the shuttle at the shuttle stop. This was amazing service! You just need to be certain to give them sufficient notice to reserve your spot on the airport shuttle. The outdoor pool is supervised by a lifeguard between June and September. We will definitely return!
“Good overnight stopover.”
This was a great hotel for an overnight layover between flights. Air conditioned, modern and good shuttle service. A word of warning though, be sure to book your shuttle spot in advance. They were full for my intended departure time but were kind enough to make an additional trip between their scheduled hourly services.
“Hotel Avant Torrejon”
The Hotel Avant was a very good stay. The price was great, the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was not the best I've ever had, but it was good. The room was clean, was very nicely sized, the TV had good channels on it and the bathroom was VERY nice. The location is very good if you are driving a car, but not so convenient if you are taking public transportation. There is a bus stop close to the hotel but the bus does not run on weekends. If you have to walk to the train station, it's only a couple kilometers, so it's not too bad. All said, a great value.
